Edit: April Fool's!

In January, I told everyone that if Agetec didn't give the community a new RPG Maker in the next two years, that I would be leaving the community. In reality, even though I said that, I had no idea what I was going to do with my life after 10 years of RPG Maker. But, by chance, after doing stuff for MagCon, I've finally realized what I'm going to do:

I'm making Sonic the Hedgehog Magazine!

The reason being, I want to work with a series of games that actually GET NEW GAMES. I am sick and tired of Agetec not giving us any news or any reason to continue working on the site. I love these games to death, but I just can't do it anymore. That said, after the 2012 MagCon (zomg, end of the world), I'm going to give the site to Feros, former Vice Head of Site and dedicate my time to making the best Sonic magazine on the planet.

Sonic is a series I've loved since I heard that immortal "SAY-GAH" out of the Genesis and still love today. Sega and Sonic Team are by far my developers in the world today. With the near-release of Sonic 4 for consoles, console Sonic is finally looking good again. Their handheld games have been quite good, too, including the Advance series and both Sonic Rush games. These games have carried the torch lit by Sonic 3 and Knuckles quite well, imo.

Really, the only developer the same level as Sega in getting old-school right is Ubisoft.

I hope to have all my plans ready by the time Sonic 4 comes out this summer. It'll be a side-site to the Mag for the time being, but then after I finish RPGMM v6, I'm devoting all my time to this.

I hope I see you guys on my new site.

No way am I going to become a furry and join the site. You make me sick, Ixzion, destroying our site and handing it over to someone who's been quiet for several years? Cluck that. I'll be leaving long before that happens.

So all we got out of our april fools this year was one person who fell for it and a pissed off Feros. Fun times.

I liked it better when we did things more grandiose.

I figured it was an april fools day joke and went along with it. I did, however, ask Ixzion a couple days later whether it was an actual joke though.
