I've been meaning to tell you guys, but I keep forgetting. If we're doing a race this weekend, the only good day for me is Saturday. I'll probably be off at some restaurant an hour away celebrating my little sister's birthday on Sunday.

Sorry I wasn't able to show up, guys. Had a family emergency. Maybe we'll be able to race next week instead. (Good thing we have that side-race, just in case.)

Also, this race needs a little software setting up. Four of us are already good to go, need to get a hold of the other two and get Retroarch configured.

Hey, guys. I had some inspiration from watching the Earthbound to Giant's Step race, so I come bearing gifts once more:

Games that RPGMM has got to do:
Ocarina of Time (Kid Link) (N64) - As proven in the lost race that SLPH did a while back, the Kid Link portion of the game can be done in 4 parts.
Final Fantasy 6 (1/4 of the game only) (SNES) - The full game itself can take approx. 16 hours, so 1/4 of the game should be long enough.
Felix the Cat (NES) - SLPH will be racing this game soon, and just based on experience from running through the game multiple times, it's very easy to figure out and a lot of fun.
Mario Kart 8 (Wii U) - I remember it was a hot topic in the Mag Chat when the game was released, so I don't see why not. Even if it wouldn't work for the main races, it'd be a good suggestion for next year's MagCon.
Pitfall 2 (Atari 2600) - I don't know if you all have emulators for that console, but it's a very quick game.

Games that RPGMM should not do:
Super Ghouls and Ghosts (SNES) - A while back I said Ghosts and Goblins was hard, so this would probably be right up there regarding difficulty.
Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 (N64) - Unless at least one of you can blaze through the game, it'll take forever to complete.

Hi again. So I noticed there was some controversy/confusion based on my comment from Part 1 of the Magical Quest race. So I thought I'd clear up any confusion with the following attachment.

I'd just like to point out that some of the "main" races in that list are side-races, not races that were picked by the winners of a previous race. So it seems weird that you'd include those side-races, but not the one with SirRosser.

Besides, I think if anybody should decide how many races we've done, it's the person who runs them.

My decision is 500. We've raced 500.

Also, we're looking at getting together a week from today if possible. Just throwing that out there so no one has the "it wasn't in the topic" excuse.
