It definitely couldn't hurt to try it that way, especially if you guys end up getting 8-9 in there too.

Well, it COULD hurt. I mean, that's extremely small and would be hard to see exactly what's happening. And then it also present the issue of far too many screens for anyone to be able to possibly pay attention to all of them. And on top of that, the commentary could end up like the beginning of the title screen of Super Mario All Stars.

That's too small. Especially for a game where most of the projectiles are going to be small to begin with. And yes, it's also too much to keep track of. Six has to remain our limit.

So it's really a question of whether anybody would be willing to sit out this one. Personally, I've been looking forward to racing this game. I've never played it before, but it sounds fun. Especially with the Metal Blade.

Thanks for the affirmation. And I can't ask anyone to sit out. From her on, though, I think what I'll do is the first to confirm with me after the next game has been selected.

This is actually a pretty nice problem to have though. There was a time when we were running low on participating old-time Magonians.

People need to realize they don't have to be in EVERY race. It's up to each individual to make the choice to step aside to let someone else in. Or just say f*ck off to myoky. Same difference.

If facts really wants in and it requires someone to drop out, I can sit out. I'm the least popular of the group anyway, so it wouldn't hurt anything.

It's already been discussed. I'm not going to join in on this one.

So the next game we're going to record is going to be Pocky and Rocky. The game isn't very easy, so to keep this within reason, save states are going to be allowed before and after every boss. And actually, I might allow full save state abuse on the final boss. I never was able to beat that guy on my own when I was a kid.

Anyways, we have three weeks before we are out of content, so we need to look at getting together here in about two weeks.

Good luck with that one. That game is BRUTAL, especially on Hard.

Looking to get everyone together this Sunday and get some footage recorded. Let me know if this doesn't work for anyone.

Hey, everyone. I just thought of a list of games that both RPGMM has GOT TO DO and ones that they should NOT do:

Games they've GOT TO DO:
Super Mario Bros. 1 - It's the only one left in the Super Mario All-Stars + Super Mario World collection.
Kirby's Dream Land 2 - They've only done two of the six games in the Kirby Dream Collection. It wouldn't hurt to do another.
Double Dragon - If you're a fan of beat-em-up games, this is right up your alley
Link to the Past - Originally I was going to put the original NES Zelda on this list, but after a conversation Dray and I had yesterday, he brought to my attention that it's a rather hard one. So I replaced that with this.
Standalone Sonic & Knuckles - You already did Standalone Sonic 3, so it just makes sense.

Games they should NOT do:
Ghosts n Goblins - That game is brutal even WITH save states.
TMNT - Not only is it hard without save states, but it gives you only 2 continues.
Paper Mario TTYD - If you prefer staying away from long games, then don't even bother with this one.
Adventure Island 2 - I know Ix told me yesterday that it's not that hard, but if you see the race SLPH did, then it's a prime example as to why I put that game on this list.
Wario Land 2 - With all the different paths and different endings, it'd make a very confusing race.

That's all for now. I'll have another list for you when I think of it.

Link to the Past isn't a short game, either.

Wario Land 2 could still work. You would just probably need to play through the game once to make sure you know not to take certain story branching secret exits.

And while on the subject of Wario Land... Wario Land 1 perhaps would be good. Maybe 3 too, though that one's pretty long. (Can't remember 4's length)

That's one thing I need to confirm about Wario Land 2: Aren't you stuck on the main story path and can't take any branching paths until beating the game?

You definately are able to find the alternate paths even if you're on a brand new file.

By the way, racers from last night. Check your messages if you haven't already.

Hmm, maybe it's just the one at the start that you get for oversleeping that I'm thinking of. I remember starting a New Game a while back and wanted to do that path first but it never triggered until I beat the game once on another path.

That was the path that I tested.

Too many people weren't able to race last night, so let's plan a better night. For me, the best race nights are tonight through Friday night.

Okay, everyone. I now have another list of games that RPGMM has GOT to do, and games they should NOT do:

Games they've GOT to do:
The Bugs Bunny Crazy Castle (NES) - Despite it being 60 stages long, it CAN be done in less than 2 hours and it's a lot of fun too.
Super Smash Bros. (N64) - I recently tested the game, and the 1-player mode can be done in less than a half hour.
Donkey Kong Country (GBA) - They already did the SNES trilogy, so it'd be interesting to hear them compare the SNES trilogy to the GBA trilogy.
Super Castlevania 4 (SNES) - I know RPGMM has done a Castlevania game before, but there's never a wrong time to try another one.
Yoshi's Island (SNES) - I know it's been talked about before and I know it takes 7 parts to beat, but it doesn't change the fact that it's a rather fun game.

Games they should NOT do:
Super Mario Galaxy (Wii) - I know there are some who can't record Wii games, but even if they could, it's one of the hardest Mario games I've ever played.
Donkey Kong 64 (N64) - A glitchless run could take 6 hours.

That's all I've got for now.
