Okay, so if we're doing this Sunday, we should settle on a starting time.

Talked to Kajak, he said he'd also be ready Sunday evening. I'm thinking maybe around 5-ish?

Also, is it just going to be us four?

Haven't updated this thread in a while. The SML2 race is up and Kirby will be up friday. I'm editing as atm.

Can't wait for V6 and handle everything through that instead of threads.

You still need to pick the next race.

It will probably be DKC3.

It basically plays the same as DKC2. Just that Diddy is replaced by Kiddy, but they both play the same.

Dixie jumps better than Kiddy and is faster.

Like anyone's going to listen to you... You know you are wrong, I know you are wrong, the whole world knows you are wrong.

But seriously, Dixie's hair glide is a really nice asset in this game, I think. It is in DKC2, too, but I find myself using it more here.:D

Kirby race is up. Sorry I didn't post when Super Mario Land 2 was up, it's linked on the first post though.

Also, yeah, I think I'll settle on DKC3 as the next race. Though we still have the Portal race that's separate from the main races. So there's that to consider too.

Just let me know when DKC3 is. I'm training a little bit on it, haha. I haven't played it much since I was like 12-13. Basically, my first SNES and a TON of games got lost over at a friend's when I was younger. To be precise, my mom's ex's little sister haha. Good times though- I just didn't place much value on the SNES then as I could- since I had just gotten a PC for the first time around then.:P

Portal, I might sit that one out. As bad as this is, I've never legit beaten that yet. As to why- I have no clue!

The Kirby race was awesome. Even more awesome that it was my first Kirby game. I am very sadly underaquainted with the little pink fluffy dude, cause I got that on the GB, then Kirby's Dream Course(kinda like golf with a Kirby spin) on the SNES, and didn't touch another Kirby game since that until the Superstar port to the DS.

Achievements have been posted. I think I'm going a bit overboard with them, though. Think I should be more selective. Maybe remove the ones that everyone gets.

All I ask is to have a date set in advance at least a couple days. Cause, well. Some days we have to drive quite a ways to get things. That, and I have a doc appointment and I need to make an eye appointment since I saved up money to upgrade my like... 5-6 year old glasses.:P

I don't think I have an open weekend for a while. But yeah, I'll be sure to get dates set up from here on out.

DKC 3 seems to be a little easier than DKC 2. Well if your going for all the bonus coins and DK coins, but a quick run through it, yeah it wouldn't take too long. But it is pretty fun. I would like to join you guys when you find a day to do it if thats ok?

I gotcha. I just figured I'd ask. Usually, I don't have much of anything going on on weekends, but I'm just being me and super-preparing for planning.XD

Well, all the people who've ever raced are people we have known for a good while. And we usually like to keep it within our ring of friends. Which is why we would like people to come to the site... so we can get to know them better. Conversations on camera go a lot better with friends than people you've just met. As such, we don't really know you that well as you haven't been here even four days yet. So it would be out of the norm to just throw you in the fray. Though it will still be a while before this race will happen, so I'll go ahead and save you a spot assuming you've read the rules on the first page ( viewtopic.php?p=138636#p138636 ) and can assure me you can provide a good recording. But yeah, just mingle. Maybe join the chat sometime. We'll be glad to get to get to know you better.

I can vouch for Raiza. He's a very chill dude(and like, really appreciative of DKC3- his LP on it is pretty darn good). We've been talking on Youtube.XD Sorry for the sudden thing, but I figured getting a bigger crowd to hang out at the site can't be a bad thing. OR CAN IT. Okay, but yeah. I was wondering if we even had an intro forum, but I don't think we do.

We don't bite here. Much.:P

Ah, and to answer about the site, since it's a bit more of a lesser known thing, it's about the RPG Maker software for the PS1 and PS2, and also the PC Makers are welcomed. Nowadays, we just shoot the breeze about anything. That and LPing mainly, it seems.:O

But yeah, the recordings for these aren't hard but just a bit different. We capture the video footage as usual, but just with no sound. I think some of the guys here are using Hypercam to record just their voice and the silent game into the same file. Personally, I just use Audacity for my comments, and Hypercam for my video with no game audio recorded. Then I just slap my commentary and the video together in my video editor. I like to do that cause headsets tend to produce a lot of that extra high noise.D: This also takes place during a skype call obviously. Though the idea of people just talking to themselves and guessing what everyone else is saying and responding amused me.:P
