Well, I've started on the insides, but I quickly ran into a problem. I started with the blacksmith shops first. The problem comes from me wanting to sell too many items at once. Each person has 8 peices of equipment they can purchase at any given shop, it's just how my equipment system works... there is always a choice of equipment. So, I'm going to have to work around the shop somehow. The whole thing sort of put me into a slump... and I also have been playing fallout 2. It reminds me a lot of wasteland... a LOT.

You can actually think of that much equipment? Remind me to contact you when I'm ready to create equipment for Slayers' Reign.

I've been busy, being pulled in multiple directions at once. At least it's summer, though.

Well, I came up with a solution for the blacksmith problem... but that was a couple days after me previous update (a long time ago). I've just temporarily lost interest in making my game. It's happened before, so I expect it to run its course and then I'll end up jumping right back in. Hopefully this happens soon.

Don't you just hate it when that happens? I could be halfway done with my game by now if not for these random lapses of uninterest.

I haven't revealed anything story related about my game. I doubt I will until very close to the release.

Yeah, so my interest hasn't come back yet. I do want to finish my game, I want to see it done. I just don't seem to want to work on it right now. Worse case scenario is I hold off until rpg maker 3 comes out and gain a good lead on that while my interests of a new rpg maker and my game are focused to completion. As for what I've been doing... I've played a couple games here and there, but mainly I've been working on a "homebrew" pnp rpg for me and my gaming group. That's what has my interest right now.

Well, I just got my ps2 back, it's been gone for about a year. I got a couple free games with it as well. Anyhow, I've already ordered Rpg Maker 3 from Amazon. I don't know much about it yet, except it looks like maps are done on a 2d image first, and calculated from there. Also, it looks like there are 23 male models to use as PCs. Adventurer, Warrior, Archer, Thief, Knight, Sage, Child, Dwarf, Elf, and Samurai among them (just generalized names I'm sure).

All I believe I need are variables and ways to control party members, though. Everything else is a given.

Alright. Rpg maker 3 release date is closing in... although Amazon estimates it to ship on October 19, 2005, I know that is wrong. Been playing a lot of MTG lately. Apparently I'm still good. Haven't lost a 1-1 yet, although I have lost a couple of multiplayer games (out of 50-75 I've played in the last month). Perhaps one of the first things I'll do once I get rpg maker 3 is see what can and cannot be done how I want it to be done. A rundown of all the characters, how they look and what they use. Nothing was all too important, but I didn't want everyone to be running around with their typical things. The last thing I want to do, however, is change something just so it's changed. See you shortly.

Good to hear, Spoom. You can also post in the Development Studio Headlines with this info, too. ;)

Well, I've had a hold of RPG Maker 3 for a while now. It's easy to see that Legions of Wrath is impossible to make on it, for various reasons. I have, however, started a game on it that I'm calling "Contagion" for now. I already know the beginning and end of the game. The middle of the game is still somehwhat up for grabs, however. I'm considering using some preset maps, modified with my own puzzles, etc... I wouldn't mind sharing the story for Contagion, as long as the development process is going to be somewhat lengthy. I wouldn't bother if I'm going to finish the game in a month anyhow. I've used a whopping 3.8% of the memory so far. That's one map, 6 people, 6 classes, a handful of equipment, and a monster. I'll have to spend a little more time with it in order to see how long creation really takes.

Well... I was about 40% done. That was before my memory card melted... which is to say my ps2 melted... which is to say my HOUSE melted. I am currently staying at my brother's house and will be overtaking his computer until I get another one. I lost a lot of everything. I had notebooks full of ideas and stories. A lot of the good stuff I still remember... I hope. The good news? We had a decent amount of insurance on the contents of the house (and house itself)... far more than it was actually worth. Nobody was at the house, chances are it was electrical. Our house was somewhat outdated. Anyhow, I won't be seeing a new ps2 for a while. Later.

Damn, that's terrible. I'm glad nobody was hurt. Really, this should be an announcement or something, at least, so that people can give their condolenses.

Oh man... that's terrible.:(

*offers support*

Sure, money can replace certain things, but certainly not your game progress and personal items.:(

I am now worried about my house setting down... the wiring sucks- the power goes out whenever you run a medium amount of things.>_<

I already caught an outlet on fire in my dining room since it decided to not handle the air conditioner anymore a year ago. That was my first encounter with fire, I hope it to be the last.

Glad you are ok. Did you save a back up copy somewhere, that would help you out a little. Rewiring a house can be tough if you use an unexperienced person.
