We've generally kept MagCon at the end of March. It's seemed to work with everyone.

However, myoky mentioned that he might want to go if it's held during his spring break (college) that's on March 11-17, so we have:


March 15-18
March 29-April 1 (normal MagCon time)

What's the deal with y'all?

I'm down with whatever dates are decided on. I can take vacation when I want.

I'll go with 8-11. My reasoning is to avoid college basketball finals traffic that's later in the month. That happened during last years on that weekend, and I-75 was nuts. Also, so Myoky can go.

Made a mistake. I think that the 7-11 would likely have facts missing one day of school, which may or may not be an exam day.

Oh. Saw this after the "interest" thread. End of Mar./April should be good.

Are we going back to the same hotel? Last year they really kind of fubar'd the whole thing. We really had to make due in a pinch. That and now that we had a few of Magonians move, there might be a new central place for use to have Magcon. I don't really have a suggestion but I'd thought I'd throw that out there. It seems like it would be best to find a central place between Illinois and Texas. But if not, where we have held it will be fine... assuming we don't get screwed over again.

And don't forget that I'm still coming out of Virginia with my group and that's already a 10 hour drive as it is.

Just curious how accessible this hotel is to food/drink/Gamestop, that sort of thing?

Also, I hope that drink you're talking about is of the sober variety. Drinking is not allowed at MagCon.

Oh I didn't realize drinking wasn't allowed. I can live with that though.
