For the last two years, we've been going to TN:

7051 McCutcheon Road
Chattanooga, TN 37421

Yet again, we are open to suggestions. However, because I am in the process of moving to TX, it kinda shifts the kinds of locations we could have this.

We could have it in Houston, TX. :p

I say keep it where it is, but if a location change is in the mix, I would suggest Oklahoma City or something around in that location. It's much more central and may allow for other members on the western side of the country to make a showing (if they're interested). That or maybe somewhere in Kansas. I again may not be able to make an appearance (this time for Air Force purposes, and I can't walk out on them if I'm in, unless I get leave time). But I'm just making suggestions for the other members to see what they think about it.

I'm indifferent really. I'd drive to both TN or TX. But I think that would put quite a few extra miles on Dray, so I think we'd better keep it were it is.

Well, I rode a bus 15 hours to get to FWA. If it were Oklahoma City, current schedules suggest just under a 12-hour ride. Going straight to Houston, on the other hand, would be a full 24 hours (by bus, anyway). I'm not sure I'd want to tolerate that.

Of course, you guys could always come to Illinois. :P There's a Hampton 15 minutes from where I live. I could bring games there, or heck, you guys could just rest there and then come to my house once you're up. I might even be able to arrange for some home cooking in the evening. ;)

If there are any west coast Magonians that might want to travel to MagCon 5, let us know now!

It IS possible to adjust the locations of this thing a bit.

I was thinking about my vacation situation and everything, and I was curious if you guys wouldn't mind having Magcon in say April? I know you guys shouldn't bend to what I want, but I don't want to ask too early for vacation, especial when you have that 90 day probationary period or whatever. I'm just throwing that out there as I'd like to be able to come to Magcon. But if you guys want to keep it in March, that's fine.

Are you really going to have a 90-day probationary period for your place of work?

I'm just saying I'm going to a family reunion like I've always said.

Most companies have it. I'm not sure if that's the right term (probationary period), but a lot of companies have that first 90 days deal where they can get rid of you for nearly any reason they want. The pretty much review you and decide if they want to keep you or not. So I'm trying not to do anything that can make them want to get rid of me.

I'm with Lantis on that one.

As to when, if my vote counts for anything, March or April wouldn't matter to me.

Well, if it's gonna be April, what day? I don't think most of us have put in for the dates yet.

Maybe a week or two after the original date. Just to give myself some safe room. If you guys want to keep the current date, and I can't make it, that's fine. If you guys are okay with changing it, that'd be cool. I'd like to be in the clear when I ask, but if it doesn't work out, it doesn't work out.
