Hey guys, we're getting closer and closer to Magcon! I'm excited!

As we've done in the past several of us intend on playing MtG while at Magcon, and as with last year (and I think the year before, not sure) we're holding a MtG tournament.

I'll be running the tournament, and I thought I'd make a topic here for anyone who is interested in discussing things (or like Lantis and Ix are probably doing, sh*t talk each other >.< )

As a heads up, this tournament, while not an officially run tournament, will be abiding by the rules and (mostly) regulations of an actual tournament. We're just a bit more casual

The tourny type is Legacy. For those of you who are interested in what that means, Legacy allows all cards, from all editions/sets, except for a certain amount of cards that are completely banned.

Not really worried about the bans, since most of those cards are quite old, and many of them only work in very specific decks. But I thought I'd let you guys know.

I think it is also worth mentioning that we may have a few more people in this tourny than just the con members. Last year, one of the employees mentioned that he would also be interested in playing with us if we were going to do this next year (which is now this year). And I think he mentioned having some friends too. So this could be rather epic.

You guys should do at least one game using only the cards from Magonian the Gathering.

I would love to do a game using Magonian cards, but the problem is that they're all incredibly broken.

Yeah... That would be pretty odd >.>

The only way Mag cards would really work would be if they were literally just copies of MtG cards as far as casting cost, abilities, and P/T is concerned.

Though, I should probably let Ix use Mag cards as he'll need their broken-ness to beat me.
