I want any and all ideas that you would like to see on the Mag in this forum.

However, in order to not spend forever working on it, I will feature-lock the development on the last day of the year. After that, I don't care how good the idea is, I won't add it in.

Well, I'd say some way to link LPs/videos of RPGM games would be nice. Plenty of 'em.

Actually, I'd second that motion. LP's of RM games are essentially the most in-depth review you could possibly do for a game someone made.

Also, I'd still like the Mag to produce little CD sized pizzas in my CDrom tray, kthxbai.

dont forget the much needed overall game score expansion. increasing the featured top scoring games list and making one that shows every rated game even.

LPs for games is definitely on the list now.

Pizzas from the CD tray, working on it.

And the overall game score expansion...the next version will have everything in an easy-to-use list with multiple pages and all that. (I think that's what you were saying)

if thats expanding on a top score for game rating list and having all games on a rank system (unranked appear as such while every game from zero to 100 appear on some kind of list) then yes.

What does this mean? Expanding on a top score?

And what kind of ranking system are you talking about? Please go into more detail.

There's less than 2 months before I'm locking up the features.

List whatever you can think of. I don't care. I'll look at everything that you guys think would improve the site.

Yes, I will look into that fantastically-unrealistic technology.

How about each game with a PS3 file actually have the PS3 file available for download with the game, instead of, you know, having every PS3 file grouped together in a single .zip file. :P

Also, it'd be nice if, with RPGM1 games, there'd be a thing that tells how many memory cards a game uses. When I did all the descriptions for the V5 update, I counted how many memory cards each game took, but any new games added since then doesn't have that memory card count.

Lastly, it'd also be nice if full games and demos were categorized separately. That way we're not going through the game list going demo...demo...demo..full game...demo...full game...

Is there any way we can get something like the "completed works" gamer card we used to have? I wouldn't mind just having that topic readily available but I also wouldn't mind something like that as a profile for each Magonian. In other words maybe as a button next to or within the 'profile'. That way we would each have a place to list which games we submitted and which games we have played. I think that info would be helpful to see who and how many games of ours are being played and for us to let others know we have tried there games.

Actually, your SSA has a list of all the games you've made (including demos) as well as any articles, previews, or reviews you've might have written. It might not list the games we have played, but that's not really work. And if it is, you are playing games for the wrong reasons, methinks. Though Ix could probably add the ability to list games you've played. But there's no way to know if said person actually played that game or not.

I didn't know that about the SSA. Thanks. How do I get to see my own SSA? As for the games played, if worse came to worse I guess I could include that in the 'Biography' section since it is sort of unofficial. We would of course have to trust that people are playing the games they said they did, but somewhere, whether in the profile or in a new topic we really should have a space to let others know we are playing their games without having to PM them or each of us creating a personal topic to do so.

Go to any game in the Vault... there is a comment section for every game there.

I would like to see the SSA go away and be replaced with the forum side log in. So it is really still there but integrated. Signing up to upload a game signs you up for one site including forums.

I clicked the comment button on a couple games and it logged me out. Still while it is good to have a comment section, it doesn't replace the want (need) for a games played list. For example I may want others to know that I played the game but not really want to comment, i.e. "I tried your game so I hope you know it isn't being ignored, that being said I really didn't like it". Plus it is easier for us to remember if we tried a different game or not so we don't have to re-download it. It would also be cool to see what type of games interest which Magonians (genres, studios, RPGM#, etc).

There is a download count for games. Just having a high download count is a pretty good way to tell the creator "Hey I played your game" without having to give an opinion on it.

Where is the download count for the games? I don't see it for my game "Who did this!?" for RPGM3.

Are you against the idea of having this list?

EDIT: OK, now I see all the info you've been referring to. Comments, downloads, etc. I didn't know where to find that before. If I missed it I'm sorry but I don't recall ever really hearing about this stuff being implemented.

Most of this stuff is sufficient. I still think a games played list is useful though for the sake of people seeing who played what games. It is like an XBOX live gamer card where you can compare games played to each other. I mean if someone thinks Bonanza is cool then maybe he can check to see what games Bonanza has played. Plus it gives you a place to keep track of the games you played so you don't redownload them by mistake.
