Hello MagCon 2010 attendees and potential attendees! I'm writing this post to inform you of new things that have been going on with MagCon:

Acquisition of Hotel Rooms
I have confirmed and reserved 3 hotel rooms at Country Suites in Chattanooga, TN. When I called, they told me that for the weekend we have, they had only a handful of rooms left. I managed to grab 3 rooms (I don't know if they're all together, because they don't know, either) that are GUARANTEED to be there for us and suit our needs.

However, you see that we only have 8 people paid-confirmed for the rooms. That leads me to number 2:

Payment Deadline extended!
The payment deadline for MagCon 2010 has now been changed to February 28, 2010. The hotel did not require payment upfront, but I need to know how many people are guaranteed to come to MagCon because right now, if only 1 or two people extra come (past the 8 who are paid), I'm gonna shove them into the two rooms we have currently and keep the cost the same.

If we can manage to get the 3rd room with 3 or 4 people, the cost will be $150 or $125, respectively.

Remember, these are not just rooms. They are suites:

And they are FIRST-PAID, FIRST-SERVED. I'm not holding any more rooms and, even if I was, it gets unlikelier as the time arrives. It's two months away and they had only two types of the rooms I specified. I had to get another type of bed for one. Please do not delay to get paid-confirmed for MagCon!

This year, we will be renting a high-quality video camera to record every moment possible of MagCon and we will immediately upload the footage to Viddler.com! It will be like you're at MagCon, if only on a time-delay! You can keep it locked to a designated channel for all of our news.

This lends itself to an exclusive offer for anyone who wanted to go to MagCon but can't for one reason or another. If you email or PM Lantis your game by March 10th, 2010, then your game will be shown during MagCon with live feedback that you'll be able to see online!

What we want are topping suggestions. Give them to us before MagCon!

And just so you guys know, we have reached out limit. We kind of expected a bigger turnout, and because of that, kept the cost lower. Because of this, a few costs will be out of our pockets. If we could get at least 1 or 2 more people, everything will be covered. But the prices listed above aren't going to increase. Seeing as this is our first time doing this, we are slightly new and unprepared. But we are working it out so that you keep the lowest cost possible and still have the best time you can. Because of this dinner and a movie is 100% on the Mag's tab.

Also, I really hope you take us up on our offer for getting a demo played by the con attendees. This give us things to do that are very relivant to our site AND you get real life feedback and reactions. We'll even be sure to keep copies of all the demos played so you can keep a copy of the video for yourself.

Draygone - Dungeons Crawled (RM2)
Ixzion - Acre Age (RM1)
And hopefully something for Arc Arath... I'm still trying to think of something to put together.


Also, my two favorite 1 topping pizzas are pepperoni and bacon.

Hope everyone is looking forward to Josh's Adventure. Shortly after the Magcon is over, I plan to release the demo publicly, so everyone can play it. But you'll get your first peek at Magcon!

As for pizza, I eat meat-lovers, so anything meaty gets my vote.

Sadly, 'unfortunate series of events' have come up, meaning I won't be able to come. But I can still help you guys do a live stream. Also I do not think Doyleman will be able to come, cause his only way to get there is to go to Memphis, and hes 5 hours away from the fun. Seriously though Orlando for next year guys .

Well, you better hope I make it to magcon this year...

I do think I can make it. Its just gonna be tough to schedule and finance because I am taking a 12 day vacation in the end of May.

However, I will keep those rooms open until the date indicated. If anything changes with your situation, don't hesitate to give me the money and confirm.
