Also, I am having quite a bit of fun with it. I'm a little bit shy still, like I said, but I feel doing LPs at the very least is helping to cure that in general.

i think a lot of the point of lps is to play something you enjoy.

after my successful youtube video of my smashed tv by ups ive learned one cardinal thing about the internet: its filled with trolls. you just have to ignore the naysayers and do what you enjoy. people cloud on your parade just to make themselves feel better or to express a narrow minded opinion, ignore then and move forward. i dont read comments by stupid people now and im happier for it.

At any rate, part 4 is up! And I'm editing tons of stuff tonight. And it is a good night, seeing as it's pizza night. Home-made pizza night. Hopefully, we have some more sauce frozen.

I getcha. I actually have a very low tier capture device, but hey, it works right? I got an iGrabber off of Amazon for that sort of stuff. Problem is, I'm rarely on a TV in which I can use it, and it might be a bit tricky to do live commentary considering I'd have to be on top of my computer while playing as well. But, it's not too expensive. I got the splitters I needed on monoprice and an extra AV cord to use it.

Getting some splitters and an extra cable or two is a good idea. The cord for the mic I have is pretty long, so I'm able to sit on my sofa and play on my TV while recording. If your mic cord is too short, it wouldn't hurt to get a USB extention cable, but for your capture device, it may or may not work out. Out of the four capture devices I've used over the years, the one I have now is the first to not work properly with a USB extension. Which is one reason why I'm not getting back to my console LPs until now. The cords wouldn't reach with my previous living arrangement.

Yeah, similar problems. The TV I need is in a separate room, but I have the short little headset thing at the moment until we can find time to get one of the rock band mics from our apartment. The whole fulltime caretaking thing just started recently, so I imagine/hope next week will be good to run up on monday and get my mail and mic. That, and a car insurance card in the mail. Gotta have that! But, the whole thing is that the TV is in the sunroom, which we usually spend time in together meaning TV shows I'm catching up on(and there aren't even that many!) But, I may work something out on rearranging our part of the house to suit needs more with a desk by the bedroom TV or something. I am planning on making a small art studio area in here anyways.

At any rate, I recorded two episodes tonight. My new policy? Record at night. Like I mentioned in a ton of places, we caretake for my partner's parents, so it is common to get interrupted during the day a lot, and for good reason. And we share a bed in pretty much a studio-apartment-sized room, so we have that to be on call for a lot of stuff. At night, it's more peaceful since they sleep well thankfully, since they have it rough otherwise.

At any rate, updates continue! Here's the most recent BOF3-isode. And speaking of which, I'll be focusing on that game since there is a contest with it. I am posting the info here, too. You will either get A:3DS Game, B: Xbox 360 Game, or C: A Gamestop Gift Card of equal value, or Amazon really. I had forgotten how convenient Amazon is with this sort of thing, so expect that as the third option. You get one of those, and also an art comission from me that is non-adult oriented(sex and violence are out). The winner will be notified exactly WHAT the Xbox 360 and 3DS game are, so it isn't some blind bag hoodwink type thing. All you have to do? Post on Youtube, on any of the BOF3 Let's Play videos, part 7 and up. In this post, guess how many times Rei will say his reliable catchphrase, "Doesn't that just beat all?"(this includes if the translation doesn't stay consistent, look for the "beat all"s:P) by the end of the game. Whoever is closest, without going over(for my love of The Price Is Right"), wins. I am personally hoping someone from the Mag wins, since you've all been great support with me even having a YT channel.

Actually... there will ALSO be a winner that HAS to be a member of the Mag. This will be a $25 Amazon gift code/card, so be sure to try! Whoever in the Mag is closest, without going over the amount of times Rei says his catchphrase, gets that prize, too. The main prize is actually worth more. In the case that someone from the Mag gets the 1st place spot, if someone else from the Mag gets 2nd place, they get the $25 gift code, too. I hate to be biased, but I just wanna thank you all personally for the inspiration to keep my YT channel going. Otherwise, I ain't giving a Youtube user the 2nd place thing. Not accepting Mag members that join after this date, either. Though I doubt someone from YT would do that since I ain't mentioning the Mag prize there.

I'm going to be editing the next couple parts, hope you guys enjoy. I also cave to Erika... I am definitely going to focus on BOF3. I didn't expect the barrage of medical problems here to happen, including my partner being diagnosed with fibromyalgia, and also her parent's declining health. If I can, I will also be doing Live A Live episodes. Luckily, that game is much shorter than BOF3.

So here's my priority at the moment:
Breath of Fire 3(for the contest)
Live A Live(Because hell, I wanna see how it ends too!)
Lufia II(Because it's my favorite game of all time, Earthbound in a close second, it will be the secondary and then main series considering when Live A Live is done).

AND THEN...

Shadowgate 64(because I think it's underrated, and I have good memories of it!)
and sprinkle that with some Harvest Moon, to finish up.

Zombies Ate My Neighbors(SNES) Co-Op. I'm looking for someone to play this with me. And I still need to get the version of ZSNES that has working netplay.

I know it seems silly, but I like to have at least one main LP, then a secondary for people who may not like the genre of the first game. After this though, I'm probably going to go to one game at a time. Why? Because by then, I'd like to get a job to help out as well, so my time will be pretty much eaten up by that, improving my art to freelance, studying web design in my own time, working on my RPG Maker VX Ace game, and cooking/cleaning. Because seriously holy crap even sans job and web design, it's a lot right now.

Anyways, hope y'all enter the contest. And also, congrats to Lantis and Erika for getting those Youtube limits removed from that bug. Because seriously, that made me unmotivated a bit to think that it might be 6 months until they came back initially.D:

I haven't updated this thing in forever. Since the games can't possibly be to everyone's taste as a prize, I think I'll probably change it to receiving an amazon gift card code or something, one Youtube person one, one Mag-specific one cause I'm awesome like that still.
