Hey, guys, I had a spontaneous idea to start LP'ing the PS1 version of FFT with Lantis in a competitive capacity, and I think we're doing a great job so far. We've covered over half the game in just two weekends, and I'll upload a new video approximately every other day. To summarize, the way we're competing against each other is by counting one point for every person who dies in battle under our control, and two points for every time we game over. I'm also wondering if we should start also counting KO's against each other, too, but so far only actual deaths (the party member's spirit crystallizes) and game overs count against us. We're alternating control back and forth between every storyline battle and every instance of game over, with each of us doing random battles for grinding JP and levels on a whim (mostly I've been doing the random battles, however if the person playing is careless during random battles and lets a person die or game over even then, points are counted against him). It's been really fun so far and I think this may be our best LP yet. So, without further ado, here is the first of many videos ->
