its refusing to update the game or even acknowledge that a change has been made. here is my game. it just changes the text and particulars.

If it makes you feel better, it didn't like mine either. But that doesn't help one bit.

I'm not really able to do heavy-duty work on it right now, but I will add some checks to it when I am.

yea no mater how many times i upload it, it refuses to upload. i tried dling it and its still the first version - in fact i think its the very first version, not even the second edited one i made.

Yeah, don't bother with multiple re-ups. It'll be the same thing.

can you do a manual upload of my new game or at the very least delete my old one so i can upload the new version. the version thats up there now is broken and detracting from potential audience members.

Karr, I've done a direct comparison between the game currently online and the one attached here.

The timestamps and file contents are exactly the same.

Contents:
system.GME - Modified 1/12/09
scenario1.GME - Modified 1/8/09
scenario2.GME - Modified 1/12/09
whyhaventyouopenedme.txt - Modified 1/12/09

True, it's still called "crystal_shores.zip" on the site, but that's what it does.

I've updated the update page to give more specific details regarding the successful upload of a file. I've tested this extensively on my local server, and it works. You shouldn't have any more problems.

so it keeps the old name and modifies the content rather then change the name? thats confusing, good to see a change to let us know whats up.

also it doesnt update the stamp on the main page of your game profile (Newest Demo: Nov. 2008). it still says that the last updated version was november last year, even though ive updated it twice since then. might be a good idea to edit that time stamp to reflect new uploads, or change the wording to say its more like a guideline.

Ah, that's a good point. I hadn't thought to change it before, since it reflects the first time it was uploaded.

Maybe I should add a "last updated" section. Sounds like something to do...

But yes, it keeps the same file name because only one demo and full game slot are available for each game. It simply keeps the latest version.
