When i go to the "view posts since last visit box" it lists 10 pages of topics that I want to get rid of. Is there a way to get rid of all of these pages in one sweep so I can clear the box with only recent topics indicated.

The other thing is whether or not I do it in one sweep or one by one, is there any harm in having to look at each topic when I really don't want to? In other words, not that I care, but it is incrementing a "view" count that it otherwise doesn't 'deserve'.

It's easy, just a couple of feet under 'view posts since last visit' there's 'mark all forums as read', which will then clear the list for you.
Or you can do it forum by forum if you want to.

OMG!!! I've always looked at every topic to clear them. There's been a few times where I've had to look at 60+ threads to clear them all.

Wow. And I thought I overlooked things! Thankfully, I knew that long ago.
