So what exactly is the goal of the new site design and forums? I thought it was about expanding our focus and drawing in new members. However, the forum side of the site is stagnating pretty hard (and the response to me better not be "you should post more threads"). The lack of activity and slowness sure wouldn't make me want to register here if I were an outsider. I'm sure there is plenty that can be talked about, but it's all happening in the chat. Are we really trying to draw a bigger member base or is the goal the opposite?

Content and promotion are the keys to driving members to anything. We have content, but lack promotion.

I honestly haven't tried to do any promotion since there's a few things I want to optimize. First impressions are everything, you know.
