We've heard you guys. There's going to be updates to the site soon which are going to lead up to Founder's Day on October 22nd.

Most of the concerns that have been posted here in this forum will be addressed and if you have a feature/support request, you can post it right here so it can be considered for an update.

Mobile site

iOS/Android app?

I want to be able to play developing the mag in an html5 app on the site to correlate to RPGM MV.

I got two ideas:

1) A RPGMM Chat app (for iPhone)
2) The Mag Shop. If it was to become a thing, Mag members could buy RPGMM related merchandise. I know there isn't any in existence now, but it may be something to think about in the future.

How about how to edit your channel description making more sense, being easier to find? As nice as this is:

I just want to say thank you to everyone who's put forward suggestions. I am definitely going to address a good few of these in the coming days/weeks.

Also, it's worth mentioning that Founder's Day is the cut off for new features. So if there's anything you guys want, you need to let us know now. We have two weeks.

The chat on mobile that can run in the background without disconnections is what I think needed the most.

Can't really think of anything else

Maybe have the "0 users in chat" numbers update live if possible. Would be a nice cosmetic thing.

Chat suggestion, nowhere near important- maybe play a sound if you get mentioned in conversation or some type of alert. Mamehub chat has that, but way different system, etc.

You mean like a sound notification for somebody whispering to you?

Update:

Chat grouping now working after 4 days of work. It took more time than anticipated, but advanced featured do that.

Other big point of interest:

The chat has been cleaned up significantly to use fewer resources. The chat now uses 70% fewer pings, so this should improve the performance on mobile quite a bit.

Chat modifications have been made:

Users are now able to choose the background color and text color for their messages in the chat. This new system will remember your color settings after you leave the chat.

Added user avatars back to sidebar.

The "Chat Closed" time has been lowered from 10 minutes to 5 minutes.

Chat modifications have been made again:

Multi-whisper system is GO! Users can now select any amount of users they wish to talk to in a group setting. Simply click the Whisptoggle button to turn it off or on for each user. If you leave the chat, Whisptoggle will remember who you were whispering to.


Layout of chat controls moved and modified.

Users with usernames longer than 10 characters have their names truncated in the chat.
