I've been playing around with the software for a little while now and have recently noticed a lag issue. When my laptop is plugged in I don't notice it, but when I'm using the battery it begins to lag pretty bad. My laptop is pretty crappy, but I was wondering if it could just be my laptop or is it with the software itself? I know using too many parallel events will slow it down, but it makes a surprising difference when plugged in and not.

It's a new problem I've never had to deal with when working with RPGM1. I need to be conscious about it, especially since I want to use this part of the game in the magcon demo. Any advice on the matter would be greatly appreciated.

I had a similar problem before my pc went completely kaput, so I can help you a little.

First off, if you press f2 while playing it will bring up your fps. This can give you some way to measure exactly how fast or slow the computer is going. My slowdown issue was my processor; it was under the minimum requirements and chugged whenever things got complicated. Hope this helps!
