Yeah..Sorry guys.. I meant to make the in character thread yesterday but work got busy and then I had some tasks to do at home. Anyways, I got 3 new sign ups since yesterday so I'll finish those off and then we'll get started... The IC thread will definitely be posted today. Thanks for waiting

Oh, btw, I think we have 7 people signed up now.

I like my Character's Lvl 1 skill. I run to aid a friend who's health is below half and I protect them. When I use it, it gives me a bonus two stamina and defence! Booyah! What did everyone else get as their Lvl. 1 skill?

Lolol. I was gonna add something in here about keeping your profiles secret and your skills as well but it's no big deal.

Feel free to talk amongst yourselves about your characters and their skills. But please remember that in the in character thread you'll have to play the role you wrote down. So if you find out a character is something that was kinda anti what you put down you'll have to reacte to that

And So far I've pretty much liked everyone's first skill. I think it's been overall well rounded. I really hope everyone has fun with this.

OH! I would like you guys to avoid talking about your feats though. Not every has obtained the same ones and I don't want everyone to know about them or how to get them. Thanks guys.

Now all we have to do is wait for the other four to come to the IC thread and kajak will tell us what the king says to us.

Whoa Whoa whoa cowboys! Hold your horses! LMAO. I appreciate the enthusiasm, , but I gave you stats for a reason . PLus, the reason I'm not playing a character is because I'm playing the npc's!

In battle you can you can try to attack or dodge or other such things. Anyone who's playing in Jamos' rp should know what I'm talking about . The reason I game you guys stats and your enemies stats is because everyone has a chance to dodge attacks and the like

And besides , you're not supposed to kill any of these guys. The king is just testing you..They'll not kill you.

So, we'll just erase the few killing blows that have been dealt so far from memory and continue on . Remember, no god modding . Say what your trying to do and we'll see if you can actually do it



Edit: Battles should take the form of action attempt, check for success, reaction, check for success. Pretty much the only things you're guaranteed success on is skills. So if it's not a skill then don't rp action to their outcomes. The only exception is attack skills. For instance, if you have a skill that let's you shoot a fireball, then you can pretty much shoot the fireball....but that doesn't mean you'll hit anything. But if you have a skill you summon a bird then the bird gets summoned no matter what.

Basically that's how it works. If you want to do something say that you're attempting it. For instance. Attacking something. I see an opening and jump for it, springing forward and cartwheeling past my opponent slashing towards his side.

Then you wait for me to see if you actually succeeded in that . Oh and when fighting a common enemy you have to take into account others. For instance, say someone wanted to attack the same enemy that the above person was attacking they would go for something like this. I sweep in from the side, going low and slashing sideways from behind, hoping to catch his in a cross between my allies sword and my own.

Lol...I hope everyone gets it now. No harm no foul. But it be pretty pointless to give you guys stats and skills at this point if it stayed like it is

Haha, it's no big deal but that's how you guys should play from now on.

I think using words in your actions like "tries to" or "attempts" will let to still be as creative as you want with your attacks still leaving the DM to do his job without worry of GM-ing.

But yeah, I guess there's a bit of noobness going around. I'm sure will get our act together before too long.
