Hey Dray. I've been dealing with chest pains for over ten years that are still partially unexplained, which sounds scary but the truth is I've been able to live with it. I hope yours go away much quicker. In any case, only rarely is it the sign of something life-threatening. Among possible causes of... |

If you guys would like to, check out my entry ! About an hour long and I personally think very fun to play. With a lot of help from 1ce and a couple other guys at the Pavilion (Redeye and TheHonorableRyu), I was able to get it to a good state in time for the deadline - barely. My slow upload speed m... |

That's sad to hear. I was following your announcements, pretty interested to see how this came out. How far along were you? You can probably translate a lot of the ideas to your VX Ace game, if that's the route you want to go. I was trying to wrangle RM3 into doing a lot of complex game mechanics ba... |

Looks like they updated the rules! Among them: ⋅ The game must be made in an actual game engine, and not a map editor/mod of an existing game. Rom hacks and games that run on emulators are not allowed. ⋅ Games must be submitted via this platform and have an active download availa... |

That's a good question! Not sure they'd accept it, given the need for all contest judges to have the disc in order to play a console submission. |

I found this official RPG Maker Web contest a few days ago as I was buying the RPG Maker Humble Bundle, and I'm pretty impressed. It might be the biggest RPG Maker contest to date and it's certainly got the best prizes. It apparently just started last week, the game only needs to be an hour or so lo... |

I'd read last month through most of the threads and reports on AA that had been made throughout the years, so now that it's on top and I wouldn't be bumping someone else's game off of the front page... just wanted to say the effort, time, and thought you guys have put into this is super-impressive. ... |

As Valk mentioned at the Pav, that's Leonomai, who's fairly active in the RM2 Workshop there. So it was pretty cool to see him make this little piece - it's atomspheric, sultry... really well done. We always knew it would be possible to make music using the instrument sounds, but I for one never ima... |

Very cool, Ix... just looked through the most recent set, and I love what you did with it.
I'm curious about the "Inept Hotel Manager"... what happened there, did they promise you rooms and then fail to have any available? |

So if I understand right, the female uses her penis to actively gather the sperm from the male, as opposed to being passively given the sperm by the male as with most sexually reproductive species? That's pretty damn interesting. For some reason I really, really liked this line: This mating behavior... |

I'm gonna try to resist the temptation to plug my favorite animes (*cough* NANA *cough*) here, unless they also have a really memorable theme. "Only My Railgun" from A Certain Scientific Railgun Full of drive and nifty instrumentation, it's probably my favorite anime theme to date. As a bo... |

I know I'm a bit late to this party, but just wanted to say this is incredibly cool! Never thought the "goomba stomp" could be pulled off so smoothly in RM2! How scalable is this trick? Can it be easily applied to an entire game, or does it need to be individually scripted for each event o... |

Thanks so much for the welcome, you guys! Looking forward to good times here, for sure. As far as why California, I've been there a few times and I love it - and additionally, it's a great place for jobs in tech. Ideally I'd love to move to the San Diego or Orange County areas but what I've seen of... |

Posting here for the first time today and I see a ton of familiar names from the Pavilion, as well as a few from WAY back in the GameFAQs days, so just wanted to say "Hi" to everyone! Greetings and hugs to all the friendly faces. For those that don't know me, I've been a fan of the RPG Mak... |

I think you've got a very cool idea, Rosser! But I can see the way you implemented it causing some unexpected problems. The chief problem is that the "LUK" stat is used deep in the system to determine the chances of having negative States applied to you (so getting really drunk would effec... |

"Unwinnable" (or practically unwinnable) battles aren't something I've ever used in my own games, but I've usually found them to be pretty frustrating. They can be great storytelling devices if done right, but I feel like the developer should do everything they can to not make the player f... |
