*frowns at thin layer of dust*

Due to some minor drama and tasks demanding attention, I kinda got pulled away the last couple of weeks. I shall endeavor to continue work on this game and check the forums more often.

Progress Update: I scrapped the 5+ hours I spent on the intro scene because I wasn't satisfied with it, and proceeded to write a completely new, much simpler one that I love. A few tweaks needed, but for the most part I have the prologue-opening of my game completed. The KISS rule has served me well!

Can't promise anything yet, but my interest is definitely piqued. I'll keep my eye on the thread for details.

I'm a bit of a newb as far as official RPGs go, though. What's Rag?

I don't have a PS3 anyway, so I wouldn't be able to use it.

I actually had to ask the same thing when I first saw it... But yeah, it's his hand.

Yeah, I kinda figured if it was a viable option someone would have mentioned it already. Thanks.

A friend recommended I get one of the USB Memory Card readers used for the PS3 instead of a Dex Drive and corresponding adapter, which would probably save me a few dollars. Any real difference?

Happens every day, really. If someone on Youtube so much as breathes copyrighted material it's war, yeah?

Considered sending Nintendo an email, Lantis? The only thing that'll prompt them to create VC multiplayer is player demand.

To be fair, the multiplayer for the classic ports on other systems is programmed into the actual games. Virtual Console games ( I believe? ) are exact copies of the old games they're emulating. Netplay would have to be a VC function, available in some overall menu ( like the ZSNES ) rather than in t...

A purely futuristic world in RM1? That sounds... painful. Good luck.

Haha, I'm glad netplay works for you. I've been trying it for years and always run into problems with routers and networks and ports. Oh my. I don't own a Wii, but it does seem surprising that you can't play VC games with others online. That'd be kind of an obvious feature to include. Do we know why...

I was planning on requesting my Dark Dreamworld studio today, but it looks like you guys prefer to wait until a member has demonstrated their ability to stick around... which is probably a good idea. After I mentioned this in the flash chat, someone said that I could create a topic in this forum unt...

Excellent advice, thanks all. I had no idea that I had even LESS than 15 blocks to deal with... but I'm beginning to understand more fully how System data is used and hopefully this will help me conserve it more. I kind of wanted to make a series of games anyway, so hopefully it'll work out. Special...
