I thought only the first 4 who responded gets to be previewed. Isn't that why you said "please reply ASAP if you want in!"

Dragon and Lantis were both late. But hell hunter dropped out.

I don't know, just do whatever you think is fair.

ASAP was put there to make sure people said something fast. I was told of the constraints, and didn't expect that many people to apply. If it was solely up to me, I would have definitely taken every request, but i had my rules on me. I figured in different time zones, then I felt silly... how could someone post while asleep or otherwise? Was that fair to them? That's why I did numbers.

However, considering Ixzion is the big cheese, him saying the slots can go to 5 would be excellent in my eyes.

I was just informed that I will be able to get 2 out of the 3 main people working on our game for the interview. Since there hasn't been an exact schedule (I understand why, you guys are as bussy as hell) we will both try to be online every night from 7 to 11 estern time. The weekends we might be out of pocket, but I'll let you guys know.

If you do have a specific window you'd prefer, just PM me and I'll make sure we will be there.

yeah if it don't make it in the paper you can just emailus the preview so we can have it for our feedback and finish the project. And when the next mag comes around you can actually publish it.

If I have to, I will personally give you a preview.

I'm sorry about the hustle and bustle. You say you've been waiting since February for one, too? Good grief.

Hey, I really admire your patience with us. We haven't done this intentionally. So I'll tell you what.

If I can work it around, I'll get you in the paper. And if not, it'll be the first game we take for 4.1.

NO one wants playtest it for us, no one wants to review it either so were stuck.

Actually, try to apply as a stuido owner. That way you can keep your progress of your and your friends game up, and updated as you see fit. I don't have a studio but I have a thread going in Help and Development for mine.

sorry about being upset, but i have posted our demo a long time ago,but it has been ignored or lost in the shuffle. and some games lke doors got reviewed or reviewed before ours and we have been waiting for a long time for a preivew. Then he moved june of last year 3 months prior for us asking for a preview, but no go. I seen him in may of this year hoping for a preview, but no. Then site went down and I had to repost

Game Name: A work in progress: chapter 1
Which RPG Maker?: rpg maker 1
Percentage Done: 70% - 80%
Expected Full Game Release Date: mid july or later
AIM: alfan77
MSN:
E-Mail: dragonproductions@mail.com
Times usually available online: 9pm 10pm or later

We also need a playable demo of your game during the interview.
you can get it at www.angelfire.com/realm2/dragonproductions

Now he is comming back down in october for a couple of weeks.and hopefully we can get a preview on this message board or something. This project is more than just a game to me. We worked on this before he moved and we worked on it together. Kinda like if we finish this project we will feel like a accomplished something. and even more if it is a success then we are successful. Cause right now our lives are hectic, money problems, health problems, but rpg maker keeps us ticking.

it is not the point. should still be first come first serve. i was just want a preview don't have to be in the paper mag heck an online preview is just fine I been asking a preview for a long time.im not griping about being in the mag. I just want my preview before october. I think hell should get in first come first serve.

If it was first come first serve you wouldn't get a preview anyways. Because you were number 5. Once this got overbundled, favorei decided to do a random draw, so hellhunter did the noble thing and dropped from it.

So yeah, no offence or anything, if it was first come first serve in the beginning, hellhunter wouldn't have dropped out and you would still not get your preview.

You should be thankful that you still got a chance to preview when favorei did the random draw.

in my opinion changing from first come to first serve then to random is not fair because as soon as i noticed i posted. but whatever decision is made is gonna stick no matter what i have to say. im just kinda dissapointed as me and my friend really needed a preview regardless of if its in the mag or not cause were working on it as soon as the preview is done. and we had the deadline for october being are preview would be in september issue.

Then we can work on chapter 2. I mean if money is an issue id be willing to pay a bit more just to get our game in the printed issue.

Money ain't an issue, I believe it's formatting. I'm sorry that I changed the rules, but I didn't want to leave anyone in the cold for fear of different timezones, so I thought a number contest would be fair. Rest assured, if you want a preview however, you will get one eventually. It's just not going to be in the issue at the moment because of formatting.

That's what I thought, too. I responded third, so I'm glad I got a slot after this random number business.

Well, we always accept early applicants for the next online mag.

Alright, seems everyone entered. I chose the number 69. I thought more would go closer to 100, but apparently not.

So, Genji, Lantis, Big Foot, and Perversion are in. I'm sorry to leave one person out, I'm just following the order of 4 preview slots from higher ups.

in all fairness and all just wondering if posting a preview of me and my friends game a work in progress ways before you decide to do the online mag if that has any pull on maybe another slot in the magazine? if not ill just have to wait and see how my luck goes, but prob not likely to have picked the number your thinking of and not appear in the mag which will be a bummer.Still buying the mag regardless of being in the mag.
