From DZF

Ix: You describe your game as a "Realistic Fantasy." What does that mean, and what will that mean for your players?

DZF: It is only as realistic as the creators mind. If your a down to earth person then most likely it will be more realistic. For me, I am more realistic now then 5 years ago since I have been through massive characterism changes. What the audience sees should be exactly what the creator wants them to see. If this is not maintaned then the whole balance of the game shifts.

Ix: How long have you been working on this game?

DZF: It is not the question of how long i've been working on this game, that you should be worried about. It is how how much experience I have had with games. To answer your question, I just recently found out that I received a letter from a relative in the UK. Knowing that there was hope, that gave me strength and gave me ideas to create a game.

Ix: Would you mind introducing us to a character or two and the world they live in?

DZF: Not at all, see it is exactly what the story is about. It is the world that we live in today, but of course it took place along time ago before Christ. We must not only have a development in the characters, but also the world in which they live in as well.

Ix: But would you mind giving a character out?

DZF: Um...that is sorta beyond my grasp right now. I don't know much more than what my relative sent me. I'm sure he will reply to my letter soon.

Ix: What kind of gameplay elements to you plan to include? Will you use a CBS (custom battle system)? Or will the game be strictly story?

DZF: Well my main concern is the story, but I must also focus on what the program is capable of and if a nice cbs is possible. I'm not looking to do anything fancy until I know what I can do, but I plan on adding some neat stuff.

Ix: How long do you estimate it will take players to finish your quest?

DZF: Well considering I have 2 memory cards and the capability to zip the files into small ones, I pretty much have unlimited space. For this though, I doubt it will be needed. The story will definetly take longer than the actual game. I estimate depending on how much history I want to use for the game, it very well could take about 40-60 hours. Also detail is a big factor too.

Ix: What do you want players to feel during this story? Empowered? Strengthened? Sad?

DZF: I want them to feel every emotion they can pick up from the story. They need to feel like they're part of the story itself.

Ix: What advice would you give to a newbie to the RPG Maker series of games?

DZF: Don't drop out of high school; do that and you might as well not try to get into game making. For those other people who have stayed in school, good for you! Now my advice is to study hard and learn. Also don't get upset if your first game is the rotten egg, cause it has happened to all of us folks that try to create games. Don't be afraid to try somethin out, cause you never know what lies ahead.

Thanks for the time.
