How about an RP where the player can travel across the universe meeting hot space babes, fighting and killing humans, destroying planets, buy and ride space unicorns with customizable gun attachments and Space pirates looting gold! A good RP needs endless choices and features.

Actually, that sounds like an interesting idea. The unicorn idea somehow made me think up a spaceship. A spaceship of the Unicorps! I will seriously think on that. I like the idea of traveling to and wandering different worlds. Good going, Duel.

I've thought of a few more classes.

Ruby Knight

Axe wielder.

Stats: HP 3 ATK 2 STA 4 DEF 1 AIM 0 Heal 6%

Xeromancer

Summons the power of Pandora to cause status effect on enemies. Also excellent healer.

Stats: HP 1 ATK 1 STA 2 DEF 1 AIM 1 Heal 20%

Prophet

Expert in the arcane arts.

Stats: HP 1 ATK 0 STA 3 DEF 2 AIM 1 Heal 5%

Reaper

Has a plethora of instant death moves. Can also summon spirits to do bidding.

Stats: HP 2 ATK 2 STA 1 DEF 0 AIM 3 Heal 0%

Riskbreaker

Master of all weapon types. As STA decreases so does AIM, but ATK increases.

Stats: HP 5 ATK 5 STA 5 DEF 5 AIM 5 Heal 5%


And my idea for WP

In order to master weapons a certain amount of WP must be earned towards that weapon type. The amount of WP needed to do so is varied.

1 kill: WP +1
30 WP: Master Fist
40 WP: Master Gun
50 WP: Master Sword
60 WP: Master Axe
70 WP: Master Spear

Once a weapon is mastered it can be used regardless of class. The most weapons that can be wielded at a time are 2.

Okay, I really like what we have going class wise, but we need to come up with a basic consept. I too think the space travel thing sounds interesting. Reminds me a bit of Star Ocean.

I started thinking of a story, but that was before I knew the plans of space travel. my initial idea was to have an empire of some sort ruled by religion. The leaders of this "Empire" are five saints of great power. They belive so greatly in their religion that they see all those not associated with it as heretics and start a crusade to rid the world of sin.

That is just a basic idea and I'm just going to throwing it on the table because we have no ideas as far as storys are conserned. I don't really feel I'm in a position to decide that much on it so I would love to here what other ideas you guys have.

I do like the idea of maps and visuals, but I wouldn't be much help in that department. I also believe if we use spirits we should have a base one for each class that way people who don't know who to or can't upload spirits would have a character to us.

As for classes I was thinking of a Mercenary or Rogue Class

Ok.. Who's going to do sprites then?

I thought there was a whole list of sprites somewhere on the mag for the RPGmaker1. We can use those.

Again I have no background in any of that. I don't even know if any one else wants spirits. I don't see why we couldn't use the spirits on the mag already unless the creators don't want us to.

I guess visuals should take back seat for now. We need everything else planned out before we can worry about that. Although visuals could give us the creative edge over past RP's.

Those sprites are cool but there kinda big. How would we fit them on a map?

I guess I can do maps. We want a space thing? Kinda hard to do maps for space. Space is a big place.

I usually start them out kinda big when I'm trying to do anything of detail. Mainly because I have poor eye sight. Shrinking them down to size shouldn't be a problem, though.

Not so much maps of space, but more of the main area of planets the RP will take place. I guess before we can get into that we have to come up with planets to visit. Once we do that it is all we need is one map for the planets and maps for dungeons on the planets.
