for almost the last two years, my game has gone through countless revisions, revisals, startings over..etc...but during all this time, i had named my game Neverquest.

they have a level called Neverquest in their game. Now i need a new title for my game so people wont be all like "LoL u copyed tEh Simpsonz lOl Ur tEh suk!"

what happens in the game is that the main character <his> became a theif because he recognized that people's lives all around him had fallen into a helpless routine. everyday, the same people would do the same things at the same time. he became a thief because he recognized that when things were stolen from people, their lives changed in a way to compensate for the loss of a left shoe, a pair of pliers, an overdue library book, or anything else. he became a thief to save people from leading boring, repetitive lives.

One day, he decides the time is right to push everyone's conceived routine and scope of things past what they can all handle, thus shattering their routines, and saving them all simultaneously. he decides to break into the Paulsen residence -the richest, most powerful family in town- and steal everything not nailed down.

during the mission, he is discovered by madame paulsen, and he takes her hostage. right before he is captured, he escapes through a window and up a mountain.

near the top, he discovers a cave with a talking rock, who sends him on a mission to collect an un named number of seeds that when planted together, will sprout a tree to sap the earth of all evil. Kasper protests, but the rock reveals that he has no choice. not because of destiny, but genetics. Kasper's brain is the only one with an abnormal amount of Glial Cells <which> and therefore the only one who can inherintly lead himself to the location of all the seeds. The rock tells Kasper he needs some rest, because tomorrow will be a very big day. he also tells him that he should get more vitamin c.

Kasper wakes up the next morning in his bed, with an squished orange in his hand.

wacky hijinx ensue. people live, die, mostly die...yeah, theres a lot of dying going on...but a lot of saving of said dead people too. the whole point of the game is really finding the seeds though, but even that sometimes takes a backseat to the other things happening.

i need a new name that hasnt already been, and wont be stolen by the simpsons. any suggestions?

Sounds like quite an interesting quirky game.

Possible Titles:

-Seeds of the Thief

-The Planter of Good

-Evil Robbed


(by the way, which Maker is this for?)

My suggestion:

Come up with a catchphrase that's said many times over in the story (if you don't have one already). Can be witty or not, funny or not, but it has to be memorable. Use it many times in the game and then name the game after it. ^^

Example: You can have the thief leave a note saying "Happy Routine!" or something like that every time he steals something.
If he does that, then the game being called "Happy Routine" would be awesome.

Iunno, the catchphrase thing is something I've always wanted to try but never had the chance. ^^

If you came up with that name on your own, I see nothing wrong with using it and not caring if others assume that you heard of it elsewhere first.

If you do decide to rename it, I don't have any suggestions. Good luck.

The only unique name you've supplied is "Glial Cell". You also gave us the hero's name. Possible titles...

Glial Cell Quest

Kasper Of [country name]

I think the second one works better. It places emphasis on our hero and the land he's saving.

Semi-related note: Eventually, I plan on making a game whose title has nothing to do with its story. Yes, I have a strange sense of humor.
