@thetruecoolness

I agree that if you get divorced after less than a year maybe, than you shouldn't pays spousal support, but there are couples that get married, agree that one will support the other through a job where their 'real world' skills/resume and abilites get developed (you've played RPG's so you know how important this is, right?) and then the other keeps up the house/raises the children. If you have spent 10-20 years of not working outside of the home (per the agreed commitment), then the individual who was able to develop their job skills has now the income of two and the one who stayed home has now the income of zero. They can't just then get a job like it is the easiest thing to do physically, mentally, or spiritually and they have no resume to show for those 10-20 years in the job world.

A divorce is not a breakup, it is the end of a legal partnership.

I didn't read much (or any) of that, KK. I could easily predict what it might say, though.

Nope, it's really Ms. Bread Winner...and I really have two websites - www.MsBreadWinner.com and www.WomenPayingSupport.com
I saw this forum in my web stats and was curious as to how it got here. Somebody said they found my websites from DIGG...looking for women support issues?

You clearly can't read. The words "social bookmarking site" were used. Make of that what you will.

However, the link was to here because your site is a joke and deserves to be parodied. Your line of thinking has so many contradictions it feels like I'm playing Phoenix Wright. Your shaming language is obvious and it's clear to me, from what you posted, that you're not interested in equality much at all.

You should be satisfied with that.

Have a nice day.

You know what? I just got a chance to read some of that website and, umm, well.......no offence to any females here at all, but, WTF!!!

Honestly, 'some' women think their so freakin' special. Boy, it must be nice growing up as a women, knowing (thinking) that you are completely negated from all of these rules and laws that are 'just for men' . Imo, women are stronger then men as far as these things go; they have the ability of bringing life into the world at the cost of mortal pain, they generally live longer then your average male, and they can be total biznatches and not even care (sometimes :P )!!!

If anything, woman supporting men is how it really should be if thats the case.

I don't even know my father, but I do know that he had to pay child support to my mom for me until I was of age to support myself. So whats wrong with women paying for mens needs?

Some women can be so daft!!!

Women are strong and they are more then capable of handling it!!!

P.S. To all of you wonderful ladies on the forums, I don't mean any of this personally, but some chicks just shock the heck out of me with their outlook on life and how things are 'supposed to go'. :shakefist

I agree. Women are biznatches. Thats why I don't get along with 98%
of them.

As far as women living longer then men.. It makes total sense to me.
Women put men threw hell and back. So thats why they die young.

Hey, I didn't even think of it that way, but you have a good point. What if it's certain women that shorten men's lives? :|

This whole women thing makes me mad.

I can completely understand where Ix and most guys come from when I hear about womens live and all that shiz.

I am a fended when people try to stick all women together and say all women are the same.

I don't think like most women.

Growing up.. My mom told me.
"One day you will have your own home. You will find Mr. right and have a wonderful family."

Sigh.. family.

Women had it sooooooooo easy. They did. And they clucked it all up. All they needed to do is stay at home. Make food and give the man sex. And thats it.
Yeah, keeping a clean home helps. But that's not everything. Most men I know are down right slobs and they don't care how the home looks. I'm not saying either, its ok to live like a slob. I'm just saying.. Food and sex are the two main things that keep a man happy. And thats all women needed to worry about.

Me having health problems kinda sticks me right into that
life style anyway. But you know. I really wanted that life mom told me. Being home with family.

But NO, these freaking stuck up snots. Bossing men around like animals. Playing mind games instead of being honest. Thinking that they own them because they choose to get a job.

Let me tell you something. Them women clucked up big time. Because of women getting jobs. It makes all of our lives harder. Why? Because now the freaking government has it in there heads.. Oh, now that women are working we can charge more money for stuff. Homes, taxes, everything. People can now afford it.

Thats why now. it takes 2 incomes. Not ONE...
Things could have stayed the same. But NO..
The richer get richer and the poorer get poorer. :shakefist

Stupid women! :|

Grade A+++, KK. A lot of truth rings in that post! DAMN TRUE.

Everywhere I bolded, you hit the nail on the head.

The bolded AND underlined part is VERY astute on your part! That's exactly what happened!

Hell, if I (and I think any man here) had a woman who would feed me, f*ck me, keep the house a bit, and give me a decent amount of quiet and respect, I'd treat her like a queen FOREVER. There would be NOTHING, short of murder and so forth, that I wouldn't do for her.

But, that has ceased to be the main trend, so we have people like breadwinner now.

Ms. Breadwinner states that man should "NOT" pull spousal support from his higher paid ex, however it was a womans liberalist who wanted equality of the sexes in the first place.

http://www.msbreadwinner.com/ wrote:
Just as women object to men's request for spousal support, some real men are particularly uncomfortable seeking it. Either they find it emasculating to ask, or they find the idea of receiving an allowance from their ex-wives humiliating. Right or not, as women's earnings grow, so will their financial responsibility during divorce. That's equality for you.

There's that word, "Equality". You understand it well. You will hear it over and over again when hearing about women who want to enter the work force to work alongside men. It was a long hard process for them to get out of the kitchen and into the job field. They fought for equality and they got it. They fought for equal wages and in 1963 the government made it illegal for a business to pay women less for jobs that required the same skill, and ability. Women have gone to extreme lengths to seek equality among Men. For years men have paid spousal support to their wives because "MEN" have been the traditional breadwinner. If the shoe was on the other foot and your ex-husband was the one making all the money are you telling me that you wouldn't ask for support that you were "ELIGIBLE" for?

The United States Court Judicial System defines spousal support as payment for support of an ex-spouse (or a spouse while a divorce is pending) ordered by the court. More commonly called alimony or maintenance.

Ms. Breadwinner, you smile when business is good, you toot your horn when you make a good business decision, yet you cry when a law that was originally intended to help your gender hurts you. The fact you are a woman, does not exclude you from US Judicial Law. This is a law that was effected to help the less fortunate side of a former relationship. Like most men, you're crying that you have to pay up.

Face up to the facts, you made a mistake. You married a bum. Honestly if he has a drug problem like you claim on your site, you could probably petition the court to appeal the decision based on a drug screening test. If he has money to buy illegal drugs and still maintain decent a way of life, you can appeal to have the amount reduced or nullified entirely. I dont think they are in the business to make you pay for his illegal habit. In the mean time suck it up, or face the courts.

Yeah, Sounds like to me that that one guy was a real jack ass. And maybe she should have just left him.

But for women to walk around calling them selves Ms. Bread winner, over one dumb ass. Now thats stupid.

Why does shes got to walk around rubbing it in the worlds face? So what. She had an asshole for a man. Does that mean all men are like that?

No!

Get a life and find someone who is worth being with.

Just like all women are not like Ms. Bread winner. She makes all women look bad.

She has one freaking bad time with one guy and she feels the nerve to write a dam book/websight about it. Grow up lady..

Back to how women had it sooo good. Way back when.. Women had money. As long as there man had a good job. And a lot of them did. The man would give the wife there "whole pay check."

There WHOLE PAYCHECK!
There WHOLE CLUCKING PAYCHECK!!!

I still know men like that today. Now thats clucking love. Thats clucking trust for your woman.

Why the hell did them skanks blow that? They where just sitting there rocking the free world. And they got it in there stupid blond heads.

"Oh, women are not important. Women are caged animals that need more out of life. The men have it good. We need to be like them.."

What? Not important. With out us.. Men will surly die. They need us. So we are VERY important.

Being caged up? Take a car go hang out with your girl friends, go throw a party somewhere and enjoy..

Men have it good? They gotta do all the work. Then they come home to us ladies b*tching all night.

And... speaking as a women we have the right to b*tch. We miss them. Theres things that us ladies can't alway do on our own. But what happens? The men do get around to helping there woman out. Most men love there women...

But women got it in there head.. We are going to go out and change the world. And they did... for the worst. :|

EDIT: I began to flame Ms breadwinner. So I deleted it.
Sigh.....
