I'm just going to post a few small poems I've written. I found them while I was cleaning my room not too long ago, and decided I'd post them. I'll probably end up posting some new ones here too. The first are some haikus I came up with for a creative writing class a few years back (I notice no one's posted haikus, so I decided to do those first).

Lake

Dark firs protected
Peaceful placid waters by
Earth's soul reflected

Butterfly

Briefly passes by
Loudly in joy and colour
Silent butterfly

Morning Glory

Quiet reverence
In vast green light of morning
One small elegance

Hmmm .... I think, of the three, I like this one the best. Something about the description "quiet reverence" .....

Got any others, Miss Aeldra?

I like that.. Because in away we all are a reflection of each other. And every thing in the universe is a reflect of its self. A mirror in a mirror in a mirror and so on. :D

Glad you guys liked them. Here's another. I'm not sure quite what category of poetry it would fall under, but I wrote it when I was bored and daydreaming one day.

The Weary Traveller's Tale

I walked the dark, untroubled path
With no one there to guide me.
A storm rolled in and through the din
I heard something beside me.
The lightening crashed, the thunder roared
The wind howled too, but then,
To my dismay, I saw it was
A wolf, and not the wind.
