Is Mardak any good with the rope? If so, maybe he should try to lasso the vulture (with the 50-foot rope) to keep as fox food.

Very good question.. It takes a skill to get the rope to land right on the bird. If this is what you want to do let me know.
The dice roll you will need to get a 5 or better though. Because catching something with a rope is tough odds.
