Nearly one year ago, I began testing Oblivion. I told him that he would be in an extensive training program to one day replace me as the biggest cheese of RPGMM. While he is not replacing me any time soon, he has done one helluva job as my apprentice.

But at this skill level, I can no longer leave him as an apprentice.

From this moment forth, Oblivion is now Vice Head of Site (VHOS). Among the bigger responsibilities he has, he is now the near-owner of RPGMM. He is officially ready to take my place at any given time.

Give it up for him, ladies and gentlemen.

I am extremely honored to accept this position.

In the printed issue of the Mag, I wrote a brief summary of my thoughts about the Mag, concluding with "Ix(zion) has said that I may take over the Mag one day. While that may seem like a great achievement, and while I AM honored, I have questioned whether I will be able to live up to the standards he has set. I know I will be able to, however, with his support."

This "promotion" to VHOS is just that, in my eyes. A recognition from Ixzion that I AM ready, recognition and support that I will be able to follow and uphold the standards he has set for the Leadership of the RPG Maker Magazine.

I realize that things will only get harder from here, but I am ready to accept the challenges as they come. I WILL NOT fail to prove that Ixzion made the right decision in appointing me to this position.

It is possible that some members may doubt whether this was the right choice. I do promise however, that given the proper amount of time, I will prove to each and every member that I have every intention of not only living up to Ixzion's great legacy, but to work with him to raise the bar, and achieve things that we would have never dreamed possible in the past.

Once again, thank you Ixzion, and thank you to every member of the Mag--Past, Present, Future. Magonians, Regulars, and even Lurkers. Anyone who has ever visited the mag and everyone who ever WILL visit the mag. You are the driving force that makes what we do have meaning.
