I know the big cheese people have meetings. You guys talk about how your going to clean up the joint. When and how your going to do it.

I know we had the Club Magonian stuido that took a flop.
Too me.. it was kinda like another spam hammer that only
Magonian levels can go to.

On a more important level. I think strong friendships = a strong community.

Have you ever hurd of a "PTA meeting?"

The admins here are working hard on there part to make this a better place. There should be a meeting grown as well for the magonians.
Yes, thats what the "suggestion,comments,problems" thread I am now typing in is used for.. From a noob stand point. People come to this thread to send a message to the admins.

I want to try to get us to develop the community to the point where.. We will only need rely on admins for asking for requests. Because an admins job is hard enough. And it should be Magonian level only. Because if your too new.. Your really not going to fully understand whats going on.

So how about the idea of a Magonian PTA Meetings. We might need to call it something different because most of us are not parents.

More along the lines of a community development meetings. CDM maybe or a Magonian community meeting. MCM.
We all can't be admins. But we can at least all feel like we can make a difference.

We'll throw the idea around.

I think the main problem with this would be people showing up. We live in fairly varient time zones, not to mention that we all have our own life schedules, to be honest admins don't actually have meetings. If we want to talk we PM each other, that's about it. It's a good idea, but it wouldn't really work out for a forum. But we'll see what Ixzion and OD think of it. I'm sure he'll see this soon enough ^__^

Well it does not need to be where everyone needs to meet at the same time. My idea is more along the lines of magonians just helping eachother.

This idea came about because of "PMing" I feel that I make good progress with others when we PM. But what is a PM? Its a "privet message." If there are problems on the mag. Or ideas.. We should all feel good about sharing them with fellow magonians. Thats why we have threads in the first place. So everyone can respond. I really think the mentour idea from Regal was a wounderful idea. The biggest problem with that is.. People are too busy. So why not everyone try to be a mentour? EX- samy302 is having a hard time getting along with Jenny505. Or what do you think of samy302 new thread.( reply- well with a little work he can get better but hes off to a good start. Maybe we should ask him if he needs any help)
We should all be able to sit in a room and talk about it. Its kinda like some thing that should go in chat. But it will be about everything thats going on, on the mag.

What's to stop us from helping out at the mag right now?

Meh, seems most the time these "meetings" happen whenever enough memebers are on MSN or whatever the duce you people use (Trillian FTW).

Though getting us all online at one time is... parsnickerty.

but finding a good number of mangonains in the same place at the same is definitly improbable.

I just think things would be better if it was more like a group. Then just helping one on one. Sometimes the left hand don't know what the right hand is doing. When it comes to groups of people. It would be good if people can discuse things as a group. On how to handle things.

Fine, we'll just make a topic and have everyone interested discuss in it.

which is exactly why we don't because nobody would show up. people would forget or peopel would be busy, it's simply not feasible to try and get everyone on at the same time, as for what draygone said. thats exactly it. that's what we already do. and thats why we have this forum.

The only meetings I've ever been a part of outside of forums was catching 2 or more of you guys in IM. Nothing planned... just a spontanious 'meeting'.

I think we should talk about all problems or just things that are going on at the mag as a team. I really don't think it matters if we all have to be online at the same time.

However if you think we don't need this. I'm opened minded to that aswell.
I'm just thinking about taking the wight off the admins and putting it into a group study. Thats kinda the idea.
We can even maybe use Mods as mediators. Or something.. I'm just throwing out ideas here.

I don't think we really need to do something special when we already pretty much do what you're suggesting already in here. We're just calling it a meeting is all.

Well, I guess for now being theres only like 15 of us that spend large amounts of time on the mag. I guess we don't really need anything yet.
If we have over 100 people hanging on here maybe then it would be needed. Because the more people you have the more things that will be needed to talk about.
