:The Idea:

So Regal came to me the other day with a Brilliant Idea (tm), he said he got it from something Draygone was saying about drawing 24 pages of comic in 24 hours. This idea was, in fact, so brilliant that we talked it out and are going forth with a plan! Which is quite the accomplishment for two lazy magonians.

:Overview:

The basic premise of the Competition is to make a comic themed around the mag and RPG Maker, some ideas for theme are:

<ul><li>About the members of the forum (much like magpies is)</li>
<li>A game you have played/are making. This must be an RPG Maker game that you downloaded from the site, or a game you are working on to upload to the site.</li>
<li>The trials and tribulations of making a game on RPG Maker, from smashing your head against the console to mixing up your variables and having your game run backwards!</li></ul>

:Format:

The comic should be at least 1 page in length and 4 at the very maximum, a page being about the size of a regular piece of paper. If your ideas all come down to three block one-shots, then making a series of one-shots is A-OK but the contest requires at least 1 page of material, whether it is continuous or not.

Submissions can be made by hand or digitally, they can be stick figures if it suits your purposes! Just be creative!

:Judges:

Two judges for this competition: Number one, and naturally suited for the job, the illustrious Altoecko! Number two but important as every, our benevolent leader himself Lord Ixzion!

:Prizes:

And what do we get out of all this work you ask? Well, it might take a while, but Ixzion has agreed to add the winning comic to the next Printed Issue of the RPG Maker Magazine!

So get your creativity hats on and make some comics!

Official End Date for this contest is now February 1st 2007

I don't think I'll be able to do the contest. I'll post a comic before 2007

the next printed issue won't be until next spring at least anyway... we havn't decided dates, but if you can get one before 2007 that will probably be good. >___>

Much magpies will happen next spring me thinks.

I don'y know how I'll stack up, but I'll give it a shot.

The fact that I'm at least slightly responsible for the creation of this contest means that I'm required by law to create an entry. Though the 4-page limit will be a pretty big hit to most of the ideas I'll probably get, I probably wouldn't have the motivation to do more than four pages anyway.

The next issue won't be coming out until next summer.

It says that it doesn't matter how it's drawn. It just has to be good content wise.
