So... something extremely weird happened to me between Friday and today.
Let's just say that I feared I would lose my job during the whole long weekend, only to be promoted in the end.
I will be my school's new science teacher (as opposed as being an assitant teacher). I think I'm still processing all of this.

Wait... Did I do it wrong?

Anyways, thanks for the congratulations! It usually takes me half a day to let big decision sink in. In this case it took day and a half. I suddenly went into a mini panic attack. I KNOW I can do this, but I have a lot of work to do since the last teacher didnt leave anything, not even a good reputation for the subject.

I tell you one of these days a Protector's mouth is going to get him in trouble. I looked at some places to move to in Shreveport earlier this morning and while being given a tour by the landlady and she gestures out towards the pool area, I nod over to a pretty girl busy sunning herself poolside and say, innocently enough, something like "Does the beautiful lady over there come available with the pool at all times?"

"Oh, you mean my daughter?" The landlady answers.

.... One of these days, SK. One of these days ....


I mean, not like I said it lewdly or licked my chops like the girl was a Porterhouse steak, but, yeah.
