The show's concept gave the studio a lot of range to work in. One episode could be serious and another completely silent, focusing on the action. This also backfired because Samurai Jack never had any long story arcs or characters that developed. It wasn't a monster-a-week, it was more like an adventure-a-week in Jack's unfinished quest to defeat Aku and return to his own time.



My all time favorite episode is the one below. The subtitles may be distracting, though.

Absolutely agree! I am so sad this show got canned. It was simply wrong! It's so much better than a lot of what they have on CN nowadays.

I don't know which episode you linked, but the one where Jack fights his evil side is definitely my favorite. I love the music that plays while he meditates in that episode.
