I seriously hope they fix this crap. They owe you even more than a refund, IMO. That random $150 withdrawal could've overdrawn you for all they know!

I had a similar incident happen with the first time me and my roommate got cable in our apartment at college. After that bullcrap(the next year I lived by myself), I bought a cable modem that fit the company's "specification"(Comcast ugh), and I had them activate my own modem. It cost like $65 or so, but it was worth it to keep them off my back. Though, I was half-worried they'd forget that I had used my own modem and try to rip me off anyhow.

I would have verbally murdered whoever I got on the phone. I can't believe they literally stole $150 from you. And I remember talking to you about this earlier and you mentioned they are going to hold that money till they get the modem back in their hands.

I would have raged then. I would have told them that they WILL return the money they stole from me immediately, and then they will come get their modem that they should have already done weeks ago. It was their responsibility, there's no reason you should have to suffer for it. In fact, I agree with Fay. They should reimburse you for the money that stole plus collateral.

Like I thought Yignition was terrible before, but this takes it to a whole new level.
