Anyhow, since I don't feel like bumping with a sketch of all things, here's Croco from Super Mario RPG. I think a certain LP has rubbed off on me subconsciously.

I haven't updated this thing. Shame on me. I actually did some stuff! I have decided in the interim to make it a general "stuff I make" topic. Keeps it varied.

First off, I've been spriting/pixeling. Or rather, practicing. I want a perk to my game being my own created tilesets for just about everything. This will take some time, but starting small is the way to go!

And I had mentioned some Suikoden fanart for a reinvigoration fanart type deal. I have only completed Suikoden thus far. I just started Suikoden II, and I'm playing in order- but in no way have I felt limited in what characters to pick since there are a lot of cool ones in Suikoden. Viktor was my favorite, though.



But yeah! An update to this is good indeed. I'm currently working on improving my fundamentals in drawing, and also working on some sprite bases for my game... since I don't like the VX chibis too much.

Those sprites look really nice. Bunch of different-colored flowers? What's that animated gif supposed to be?

Yeah, I need to actually play Suikoden 1 and Duece.

Thanks! They're different colored, just to do a palette swapping test. Photoshop makes it too easy.

The animated gif is just kinda the WIP over time. It's not meant to be anything other than that(thank goodness haha).

Suikoden is alright. I just played it last year, so I'm pretty new to it too.

More stuff I'm working on sprite wise. This is the style I want for my RPG Maker game, so I figured why not make it myself and all that. It's a rough obviously right now, and he can only walk down... while naked. And the darker area on the top of his head is a rough guideline for hair, since I feel sometimes people forget the small nuances in that- so a guide works for me.

Now to just get my female even started animating... and finish his animation as well. His body isn't fully pixeled in yet at all(as in especially, the appendages that alternate going back need shadows and such), but I figure it's getting the animation started and then shading the form will help more with that.

I'm also planning on taking the female and male basic adult models, and then modding them into older models, as well as those of varying body shapes, and the most mods for teenagers and kids.

Wow, I haven't updated in a while. I'm working on some stuff, mainly looser stuff, but I'm actually working on an MLP thingy right now. It's fun since it's so simple, lax, loose.

Definitely a WIP right now, but hey, that's the fun part!

Thanks, guys! I thought the episode was too cute with them. It culminated in one of my favorite songs from the series, too.

It's also my first time really attempting pony-type stuff. Parts of the fandom scare me, so I probably won't be posting it much anywhere else.

Worked a bit on it tonight, but it's been/still going to be busy with cleaning and whatnot.

Now you're going to have to make pony avatars for everyone...

I totally could for anyone that wants em.

I still need to finish the poor ponies, but I actually left the group for which I was making it. I will finish eventually, though- regardless.

Anyways, I kept saying "I WAS BEING PRODUCTIVE!" while my Asus has been out. While I'm needing to do a lot more studying, the week prior... I actually made kind of a "last piece before progress training" sort of thing.

It's a Sylvari from Guild Wars 2. She looks like my warrior, but I ended up choosing a completely different color scheme and class for my actual live-server Sylvari character. Tons of fun though.

Yes, you need to finish ponies. And how come the dude with the red hair has yellow lipstick and facepaint on? He on crack?

Actually, it's a woman. But yeah, sylvari are essentially plants. Hence the design. I enjoy them, anyhow. Though, the one I actually ended up going with is something I want to paint. I have actual reference now- the prior reference was from my Asus trying to run the game.

Oh yeah, don't get me wrong (even though I now realize I said nothing positive), it's actually pretty good and stylized. The details that went into the face paint are nice and...detailed.

Haha, it's cool. I do need to finish the other though. It just sucked cause no one else participated lol. But, I don't hate the other one- it's just mainly copying the show style though.

Basically, I sketched it on my Kindle in Sketchbook Express, then I finished it in Photoshop on my computer. I'm doing the same right now, with Maya.

This is a just for fun little series. I'll probably also be doing Sal and Zero because of this, I imagine Sal will be MOST challenging. So, it'll eventually be a horizontal quadriptych(4 parts, aka, 4 paintings).
