As far as I know, no. It is called RM(XP) for a reason, unfortunately.

Bump, because I'm wondering how well this works. My computer is throwing a fit, and I'm thinking of switching to the less-crashy (supposedly) Mac. Though if RMXP (and RMVX) can't run in any form on a Mac, I'm gonna be stuck with another PC. I wonder the same about my DexDrive, as well.

RPG Maker CAN be used on a Mac. How? Simple. Macs are able to run a program called bootcamp, which allows a user to switch between operating systems, otherwise, known as Leopard (Mac) and Windows (Windows... duh). Install bootcamp and Windows and you'll be able to use RPG Maker XP on your Mac. Problem solved.

Custom PCs don't crash near as much as those dell/HP/Emachine/compaq pieces of garbage. They are what crash, not honest to God custom PCs.

Other than that, I haven't heard of bootcamp before. Though I like the concept. I'm just curious how it fucntions. I assume the hardware wouldn't be able to run windows what with the different chip sets and such. And what about drivers? I mean, windows drivers for mac hardware would have to be custom made by some linix users or something.

Well, mine is custom, and actually it did well for a while. I guess, quite possibly, Macs kamikaze themselves just as bad when they get on their last legs.

Windows on a Mac works just like it would for a typical PC. It's nothing strange, altered, or watered down. The only downer is that you have to get windows specific sh*t, but you probably have all the stuff you want for Windows in your house anyway, so you probably won't have to go out to buy your Office or whatever. Well, I think that's how it works anyway. I'm no Mac expert, but I do know that Windows runs just like it does on a PC on a Mac.
