The mag will most likely die from lack of users who are interested in the console version of rpg maker. Old members will eventually move on to other things because they are getting older. Ixzion will slowly change this into a porn site starring him and the women he meets. That will utterly fail and then he'll sell the website.

If it's gonna go, it might as well go big...

The mag will become sentient and start a war of Man vs. Machines, in its virtual mind, the Mag will be conducting code simulations and testplay the entire globe until it manages to wipe itself out because it wasn't designed to learn how to do anything else, thus it will break down and fizzle back into the cyberspace it came from.

Anonymus will raid it for the lulz.

A planet goes supernova 10,000 lightyears away from our Solar system. Gamma bursts dissipate our Ozone layer, and in turn, causes mass extinction worldwide. With no humans, comes no new Makers. With no new Makers, the Mag dies. With the Mag dead, the universe loses all hope of ever understanding itself.

... MegaMan 2006 will come back one day after we've somehow forgotten all about him and kill us all with his great miasma of unparalleled evil. And, of course, with no Magonians around, the Mag itself will cease to exist.

*sigh* Yes, his evil is so great that it will triumph over even the good protector of angels, Sarah's Knight.



But, to tell the truth, I think I liked Myoky's theory the best. ^_^

Hey, don't joke about that! The Gaia Online user panel I went to at Anime Boston 07' got raided by 4chaners and died a most horrendous death.

I think the Mag will die when the Pavilion quits banning people, thus leaving the Mag with no new source of disgruntled, world weary users. When the last of the Users who existed from before "The Great Acceptance" (as it will come to be known) realize that life is worth living and that hope exists in this world, THEN AND ONLY THEN will the Mag finally die. Alas, when the Pavilion becomes bloated with it's own overabundance of angst, and thus realizing that it killed off it's one outlet for such emotional baggage, it to will collapse, probably in the space of a few days, and probably in a giant flame war over who was a more awesome Transformer: Optimus or Rodimus Prime. At this point a SUPERMASSIVE Reagal Hole will form at the center of where the Pavilion once existed and every site withing a 5 link radius of it will be sucked in, thus wiping not only the entire RPG Maker community from the face of existence, but any website that dares to venture to close to it as well.

Being we're affilated with Agetec, we'd be able to sue if another site came and tore us apart, right?

This is how the Mag will end; not with a bang, but with a whimper.
