Rosario + Vampire is only decent. Also, it has a second season on the way.

Gundam bores the hell out of me. Mech anime is mainly boring, but damn if Code Geass isn't fantastic yet depressing.

Damn, I forgot to mention Gundam Wing.

Now that's what an anime should be like. Ever watched it, Ix? It's anything but boring. It is kinda sad, since the main theme of the series is war... but all the moments that could be called 'depressing' are pulled off in a way that makes them really, really awesome.

The best example is in the very last battle of the anime, where [spoiler]Wu Fei finally gets to fight Treize for revenge, and Treize doesn't fight back, sacrificing himself in the battlefield, because he believed his job was done.[/spoiler]

Really, if you ever get a chance to watch that, do it. Of all the anime (not manga) that I know, I believe Gundam Wing to be the best one.

Wing is a pile of sh*t. lol.

Really? Can't say I've watched any other Gundam stuff. I have no idea how Wing fares as 'a Gundam'. But I think it's an excellent anime in its own right.

I actually really liked all of Fullmetal Alchemist. I was a little miffed when it came over here and got dubbed so badly...

Besides, you should never rely on Cartoon Network for your anime.

The only good thing with Seed is some of the music and both Justice and Freedom Gundam.

I thought Seed was a travisty...

I can't emphasize enough how true that is.

I'm getting old, I'm from the time the TV companies bought anime because it was cheaper and not because sedentary 13-year old fanboys would pay fortunes for it.
