I can't seem to keep the chat from crashing. Whether I browse or just sit there, it crashes sooner or later, regardless of me using AOL or Internet Explorer. Ah well...

AOL and IE are the two worse browsers around. Next to them would be (sorry Ix) netscape. Firefox and Opera run quite well. Unless you are running Vista, Opera has a few issues that haven't been patched yet.

Also, seeing as the chat is a flash based program, I would recomend going and updating your flash plugins and whatnot.
