So, I've never played a Final Fantasy game before. Okay, that's not entirely true I did play Final Fantasy X for about...ten...minutes. I don't hate the series, in fact I'm disappointed that I don't have the time to play the best entries. I'm slowly developing my JRPG tastes and Final Fantasy is an obvious must-play series.

Well, lately, I've been streaming Final Fantasy 6, er, wait, Final Fantasy 3. THE ONE THAT HAS KEFKA! It's a great game so far, and Kefka is one of the best video game villains I've ever seen.

Anyway, I want to know which Final Fantasies I should play, and in what order I should play them. Basically, a gaming playlist.

I and II you can give a pass. I was incredibly difficult, II was incredibly weird, but III had a DS remake which was pretty good. So you could give that a try. But IV through X are must plays. I would also recommend XII. There's also a DS remake of IV as well. I really like both versions of IV, so it's up to you really which one to play of the two. I'd also recommend hitting Final Fantasy Tactics. While not part of the main franchise, it's an amazing game... specially if you are into strat RPGs.

Yeah, pretty much what Lantis said. But if you are only going to select a few to play, then VI (the one you ar eplaying right now), VII, and IX are the absolute musts, might I say.

DO NOT PLAY XIII. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT TOUCH IT.

If I could start over this is the order I wish I could had played these games. Also do not play 7 before you play 8, doing this made me hate 8's magic system and I could not get past it, I took it back to the store and got my money back.
