Why dont you guys try one of these ad things?

They essentially pay for alot of things.

Only thing is you cant tell anyone to click them. Nor can it be implied.

It could help run the store?

The RPG Maker Pavilion tried them once. Somebody wound up clicking a whole bunch of ads out of spite and the Pav lost all revenue from the clicks.

Possibly. Didn't work out, though, and so Valkysas (the Pav's current Head) has decided never to bother with them again.

I'd honestly say that's a pretty bad idea. Personally, I don't like alot of useless junk to be flashing all over our site.

But that may just be me...

It dosent flash and it blends in with the site.

You dont even see it most of the time.
Plus, you can put it in the footer amd who ever goes down there?

I think that adds posted everywhere is not the image that Ix wants for this place.

What could you lose?

If you gained something and lost it then its still a balance where you never lost anything.

And if none of have ever seen a site with google ads then here.

See you can get one of those text banners and customize it to blend in.

I am personally not a huge fan of Google Ads. If the mag needs money, I'll have my wallet open long before those go up on the site.

Honestly speaking, if you opened a paypal account for donations for server/hosting fees, I'm sure that would be alot more successful than ads.
