But how are they going to know what they are doing when they can't see what's actually in the vending machine or can't read the ATM monitor?

1) don't you find it surprising when you wake up and think to yourself;

'my god, its 6 in the morning, i'm getting ready for another monotonous day, everyone around me will no doubt be talking about their own lives, from which i am totally and perhaps mercifully disconnected, and the only thing i have to look forward to today is the slap-up TV dinner and solo late night movie watching after work. what the hell did i do so wrong as to end up in this dreary, sterilised, for the home user version of Dante's inferno?'
