I used to have a cat. (Well, it wasn't really mine. It was the family cat. One of them) She was called Gata. (Female cat in spanish, for those who don't know) The weird thing was this: My aunt told us once that when cats are about to die, they leave their homes, and go die somewhere else. We have found 3 dead cats in our yard. Gata was sick, and she left home. We found her the next day. Dead. In our yard. I should have been sad, but I was more like "Hey! You were supposed to die somewhere else!" I also made a silly little poem for her that wouldn't make any sense to most of you. But, when my gog was killed by a car many years before, in front of me, I was devastated.
