RPG Maker XP, the greatest way to create a video game. Period. I mean, you don't need any JavaScript experience, and, like it's older versions, is totally easy to use. The game can be downloaded almost anywhere. Just search. If you are familiar with Ruby, then go ahead and make your game easier. If you have never seen Ruby, here's a little screen.

RPG Maker XP is roughly $60, so you should only buy if you are sure you want it. You can download a free trial, but it only lasts for a month.

Now, creating a map is as simple as dragging and dropping. And making fully detailed houses....a little more advanced, but still simple. Another screenshot...

If you want to learn how to make a map like this, then PM me, or send me an email at dragonshadowstudios@yahoo.com.

Battles are interesting, and they can be modified to your hearts content. You can change battle BGMs, SEs, and graphics. Another screenshot...

Another awesome thing about RMXP is that it's fully customizible. You can import sprites, battle backs, music, and animations.

Score: 9.75
Grade: A
