So, I'm planning on making a game on RPGM3, and I told my plans to the guys on another forum I've been going for years, and they are begging me to make it on RPGMXP so they can play it too.
I know RPGM3 is very easy to use, altought very limited, so I was wondering, how newbie friendly is RPGMXP compared to RPGM 1 2 and 3?

I did managed to do a few basic things in the first 2, but the ammount of time it took me to do anything and the ammount of time college took (and still is) taking me turned me away from them.

You know, I can't honestly say. I know my first experience with a PC RPGM took some learning, but it was also my first RPGM overall. I've gotten used to them now, so what I may think is easy may not be so for another person.

But I'd say RMXP is just a little more difficult than RPGM3, even ignoring the completely optional Ruby programming code you can use in it, but not a whole lot more difficult to learn.

You may actually want to learn what's possible and not possible on RPGM3 and RMXP, because you won't be able to decide on difficulty levels alone.

Hmmm...Lesse...Well, i have to say it's RPGM 3 that's easier.For RPGMXP i think it's alot like RPGM 1&2.I seen my friends playing with RPGMXP and it look a lot whole like the RPGM 1&2 but not as complicated as 1&2.But if you really want to make it at the RPGMXP then have time to learn it.But RPGMXP is only sold in Japan.So i guess you'l have to wait to order it...

um RPGMXP is released in the U.S. you just have to download it and pay for it...

Wow, like really!?It's already released in the U.S?Then i gotta buy it sometimes!!Oh, yeah, but aren't downloading the program just only for a trial?Because some other games i download have time trials of playing.And if it's already the limit you'll have to buy the game.

Yeah, there's a 30 day trial.
I guess I'll download the trial to check it out then.

It's been out for close to a year, now. It released within two weeks of RPGM3.

I have never used RPG 1, 2, or 3, but I have used XP and it is my Fav PC RPG Maker.

I probably shouldn't make assumptions, but I assume you payed for your copy.
