In RPGMaker 2, is it possible to create an event where when your character checks his/her computer and a new screen pops up where he can check email, go to pre-approved websites, look at the weather, and other things?

I'm assuming I would have to play with the pre-written scripts for the menus, but I'm not positive on how to put this event to work. Any ideas?
