Yes, I'm sure Sony still owns the rights to many samples from their synthesizer and keyboard line. I'm sure Agetec could ask for those to be available in the game since it would be making Sony Music on a Sony Playstation. Or they could go with more themes. Celtic: Dulcimer Hammer Celtic: Drums Japan...

I'm so glad this forum exists. It really saves me a lot of trouble. :)

On Page 3 of List everything you want to know about RPG Maker 3! I asked if I could import in sounds, textures, or images and was told no.

Maybe next version on the PS3.

How do I put this nicely? This is for rpgmaker3 right? If you create a town with actual buildings you can enter you'll need a good 12 buildings to make it look like a town, and since you can only have 20 events in a town you'll only be able to make a whole 8 random zombie battle events. I suppose y...

Tough break on the save, though. I remember doing the same thing with the original RPG Maker. I was quite pissed. :p Thanks for the pat on the shoulder. (^_^) Now a question: Off http://www.agetec.com's RPG maker page, they have this listed Compatibility Specs: 1 Player; Memory Card 2705KB Above; I...

So I'm just gonna add to it. I made 2 character, 4 monsters, 2 villages, and a continent complete with islands. I was under the impression that when it said "Save **** information" - It did. I was able to go back between editors and preview, add, preview - so forth. Then I turned the PS2 off. Now it...

Actually you can have zombie random attacks, but to do it you have to put an invisible event in the town, then have that even trigger a random battle. Then make a whole bunch of those all over the town. I did that in one of my towns which had been overrun with dragons and titans. PRECISELY! That's ...

Curses. So there's no way to break up the town and create terrain that looks like a town in shambles and increase the random attack factor of zombies? If I find a way around this, I'll let you know :) Next question - I know you can set up Sunny Day, rainy day, ect. Can you set the environment of a t...

I've been reading the manual at work and looking forward to when I can actually play with the editor (I polished off Dear Braveheart in one sitting). I'm planning on making a game for my friends. Naturally this will be packed with jokes. A lot of things I have to go thru the game to see if they are ...

That's a sexy thing. Thanks so much. I'll be one of the few, the proud, the ones that actually read the manual.... :lol

K I'm off to read this thing, now.

The screenshots on the web thus far are nice, but small. Are there any clear screenshots of the dev screen?

Heck, scratch that - is the manual available on the web somewhere? :\

RPG Maker 3 and RPG Maker XP have two completely different layouts. Each game has different commands and functions, so you won't be able to learn RM3 using RMXP.

D'oh! :XD Thanks for clearing that up for me.

Basically, the demo is the full version of RMXP with a lockout date. RMXP and RM3 are two different programs that can't be used interchangeably.

The note on the Pav is outdated, as RMXP has a full US release.

Ok, so I can learn the layout on this demo as I wait patiently for my next paycheck?

Ok, on this XP demo - does it have the same "layout"/interface so that I could concievably use it to get use to the program? I know that since it's a demo I probably won't be able to transfer my work to my PS2 version when I buy it. But is this demo a good way to get use to the menu commands and wha...

Actually, you can have that, but you can't have a Fire Sword shoot flames, graphically, at enemies.

So there are not magical weapons in the game system? (like +1 to ice weak creatures)

Awesome Sauce Ok, So when I get RPG 3, also purchase (eventually) a MaxDrive for exporting, a USB keyboard for the PS2, and bigger memory cards from Sony. It's a shame you can't import extra textures, sounds, and images, but I see that coming in the PS3. :XD It'll rawk! I definately won't be making ...

Ok, good! I came up with another idea just now.
If a friend of mine has RPG maker3 and a PS2, can I compress my finished game with MaxDrive onto a PS2 memory card to give to her so she can play my game at her house and help trouble shoot it?
